I was just remembering this game, hadn't played in a while, but wanted to give a review. I really like this game. the aesthetic is really unique, and THERES A DODGE ROOOOLLLL. I play a lot of binding of isaac, and yah isaac is definitely more varied and crazy, but it is hard to compare anything to isaac. our darker purpose is it's own thing, there is a dodge roll mechanic that already sets it apart, and less variance in the items makes the game a bit more streamlined, but still very fun. the story and ambiance is also great. I highly recommend to anyone who likes the concept of isaac but wants somethin a lil different. I recently came looking at this game again cause i was wondering if the devs are working on anything else in recent years. doesn't look like it but I wish them well in all their pursuits.
