When Quiplash first released on Steam back in 2015, it was my favorite party game to play with friends & family. I used to stream my laptop to the living room TV with the Steam Link & we'd play Quiplash for family game nights after eating pizza. I unfortunately moved a couple hundred miles away & Quiplash is the game my family looks forward to me bringing with when I visit for the holidays. I bought this version with new prompts from the original Quiplash so I could stream my Steam Deck to the living room TV & so we could play again this past Christmas. I never bought The Jackbox Party Pack 3 which does have Quiplash 2. Quiplash 2 InterLASHional is that same game but in French, Italian, German & Spanish & with additional prompts for those non-English speaking players. I love that this game is being expanded to a larger market. Quiplash 2 InterLASHional ran exceptionally well on Steam Deck with zero issues. I genuinely cannot recommend this game enough.

Quiplash 2 InterLASHional, developed and published by Jackbox Games, Inc., represents one of the studio’s most refined and inclusive takes on the party game formula they helped popularize. Building upon the success of the original Quiplash and its sequel, this version adds a global twist—expanding the experience into multiple languages while maintaining the same sharp wit, fast-paced humor, and socially driven chaos that defines the series. It’s a celebration of creativity and comedic timing, built around the simple idea that laughter is universal, even if the punchlines are not always perfect across every culture. Designed for gatherings both in-person and online, Quiplash 2 InterLASHional aims to make anyone, anywhere, part of the fun. At its core, the game’s premise remains disarmingly simple yet endlessly entertaining. Each round presents players with a series of prompts—sometimes absurd, sometimes clever, and occasionally bizarre—that they must complete with their own witty responses. Once everyone submits their answers, the group votes on which one is the funniest. The winner earns points, but the true reward comes in the form of shared laughter, playful teasing, and the unpredictability of group humor. Anyone with a smartphone, tablet, or laptop can join by entering a code into a web browser, making setup effortless and gameplay highly accessible. There are no complicated mechanics to learn and no skill barrier; all that matters is imagination, timing, and how well you can read the sense of humor in the room. Where Quiplash 2 InterLASHional distinguishes itself from its predecessor is in its embrace of multilingual accessibility. The game supports English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish, each with its own set of culturally adapted prompts and jokes. This expansion makes it far more inclusive and ideal for international groups or multilingual households. The humor, of course, varies between languages—some jokes hit differently depending on cultural context—but the inclusion of unique prompts for each language demonstrates Jackbox’s genuine effort to make everyone feel included in the joke. It’s an especially welcome feature for families or friends who speak different native languages but still want to share the same experience. The humor may occasionally stumble in translation, but it often gains a new kind of charm when played among diverse groups, creating spontaneous moments of cross-cultural comedy. The game’s presentation and design retain the signature Jackbox flair—colorful, cartoonish visuals, playful music, and smooth pacing that keeps the energy high throughout a session. The minimalist interface ensures that the jokes remain at the center of attention. It’s the players who create the content, not the game itself, which means that every round feels fresh and personal. Whether the humor is sharp satire, surreal nonsense, or unabashed immaturity, the unpredictability of human creativity keeps the experience alive. The host’s quips and reactions provide a layer of continuity, and even when a joke flops, the light-hearted tone prevents the atmosphere from ever turning dull. Beyond the linguistic additions, Quiplash 2 InterLASHional doesn’t change the underlying mechanics of the series, and that’s both a strength and a limitation. For newcomers, it remains one of the most approachable and entertaining social games on the market. For returning players who already own Quiplash 2 or have access to it through the Jackbox Party Pack 3, this edition might feel familiar. The main differentiator is the broader accessibility and the slight refinement in prompt writing and interface polish. However, for those who regularly host game nights with international friends, language learners, or multicultural families, this expanded edition offers a level of inclusivity that justifies its existence. It transforms the party game from a strictly English-speaking affair into something more universal. Quiplash 2 InterLASHional also thrives in online and streaming environments. Like other Jackbox titles, it supports an audience feature, allowing larger groups of spectators to vote and influence the results. This makes it perfect for live streams, remote gatherings, or community events where not everyone can directly participate. The simplicity of joining via browser means even casual players or less tech-savvy participants can join without hassle. The design philosophy here is elegant: reduce barriers, maximize fun, and let personality drive the entertainment. It’s a testament to Jackbox’s understanding of social dynamics that even years after its original release, Quiplash still feels fresh when played with the right group of people. That said, the game’s success ultimately depends on the players themselves. Quiplash 2 InterLASHional is less about winning or losing and more about the energy shared between participants. With the right crowd, it becomes hysterical—a room full of people laughing uncontrollably at each other’s offbeat humor. With the wrong crowd, it can fall flat, as the game relies heavily on player engagement and creativity. The prompts are designed to encourage absurdity, but they only come alive when players embrace the silliness. It’s a game that thrives on personality, improvisation, and camaraderie, making it perfect for casual parties, family gatherings, or virtual hangouts. In the end, Quiplash 2 InterLASHional succeeds because it understands that the essence of good humor transcends borders. It’s not about complex systems or visual spectacle—it’s about laughter, connection, and shared creativity. By expanding its linguistic reach, Jackbox Games has opened the door for even more people to participate in the chaos, proving that humor can bridge cultural gaps in ways few other games can. While it doesn’t reinvent the formula, it refines and expands it in meaningful ways. For anyone seeking a versatile, inclusive, and endlessly replayable party experience, Quiplash 2 InterLASHional is one of the best options available—a simple but brilliant reminder that the funniest thing in any room is still the people in it. Customisable prompts are great. Wish the 'Last Lash' would also just be a custom prompt but still great.

Jackbox is something I’ve always wanted to play, and recently I’ve been playing them finally in discord calls hosted by others as I share a server with a few people who own most of the games and spend a lot of time in voice calls, making up for some great fun. I’m hoping to someday buy the full packs, but they are very pricy for me sadly, but I hope to nab some on sale next time I get some steam funds. Jackbox is one of the funniest games I’ve ever played really entertaining to play for hours, and that includes Quiplash. I played Quiplash 2 for 3 days straight with some friends and it was great, but unfortunately for the last 6 days, Ive not been able to play it, and I still cannot get the game to launch anymore, which is very annoying. Everytime I try to launch it now it closes on me 2 seconds after before even loading up the game. If there is a way to fix this i would love to know how as I don’t think I can refund this as it might have been in my library for too long by now, and besides I’d much rather get this to work again than refunding it as I enjoy playing it. Noticeably it happened after i downloaded the mega party picker, but I’m not sure if it had anything to do with it. If the developers or someone else could help me out with this, that would be great. My pc is somewhat old and has always been lowend, but it’s never had an issue playing Quiplash 2 before this.
