Fast and punchy. The action of paying for cards with other cards is neat. You'll enjoy it if you like strategy and optimisation games. The economy of time - with the game finishing upon building out your tableau to 12 cards - also creates an interesting constraint.

A little over a year ago, I discovered Dominion, and fell in love. I wanted a Sci-Fi themed deck/engine builder, and I looked at Race over and over and over. Oh how I wish I pulled the trigger sooner! Only a little bit in, but it's easy to step into, and I am having a blast. While the learning curve isn't too steep, I can already see quite a bit of depth waiting to be explored. Highly recommend! It's inexpensive, and if you like the idea of a sci-fi themed deck/engine builder, you are almost certainly going to like it!

Good card game with very confusing design. It starts to make fun as soon as you encoded the cryptic UI and symbology.

On top of this being an excellent digital adaptation of a cardboard classic, to my knowledge, it sports the only (STILL, even in 2025!) true machine-learning developed AI opponent in computer games. You can bet it is very competent. You WILL be challenged!
