I probably have more hours in this game than 99% of the people who are leaving reviews. A lot, if not all of their complaints are pretty much valid. I'm here to offer an concise Pros & Cons of the game, and you the reader can make an opinion for yourself. I will start with Cons, because I do enjoy the game and wish to end on a lighter note. + Cons: - 1. Support of Balenciaga and outright throwing brands in our face, in hopes we'll be good little consumers, shut up, and spend our money to look "richer". - 2. The servers and code need improvement, they've come a long way from Beta days, but many still experience desync, network issues, or outright crashes. - 3. The Playerbase is 95% entitled, nihilistic, selfish monkeys who tunnel vision on the ball and have no concept of the roles established within the game or in Futsal. They will break any semblance of formation to seek a glimmer of glory and will be more likely than not met with overwhelming failure, then blame the goalie for losing a 4v1. Most games you're lucky if you can manage to get 2 people who are willing to return to defense. In this game a Man to Man Press is the most effective but that requires everyone to understand their roles and stick to their person, along with the patience to wait for the right time to strike. Thats another issue, they have no patience, if you take more than 3 secs to steal the ball, one of your idiot teammates will run over and double team the ball-holder, which always results in a free pass to whoever they just left open. - 4. Stamina Management: If you have ever played a game with a Stam System this isn't an issue, but if you haven't, NEVER let your stam hit zero. You're stamina recovers quicker if you keep it above 25%. Too often you'll see noobs full sprint from one end to the other and then complain they don't have enough stam to return to defense. Just play like Messi, walking to where you need to be and be strategic on how and when you sprint. - 5. Broken Relationship: Sloclap has destroyed it relationship with its player base in order to establish better relations with its investors. Which is smart business and wouldn't be as big an issue if they put more effort into listening to the players. I have not seen anything recommended from the community be implemented. There were talks early on about them allowing players to make clubs to represent their local cities and we can see with The World Cup event they have the systems available to make it happen, so I hope they follow through and create it because that one thing by itself will revive the game and bring in revenue to make more mechanical improvements. - 6. Defensive Stance: It seems every season they re-tune this mechanic and how fast you can enter and exit the stance. To me, it is one of the core mechanics defining high level skirmishes between players. Making it clunky and slow removes the defensive capabilities of "defensive stance". There's also a cool interaction with it that allows you to freestyle dibble by timing the enter and exit of the stance with perfectly timed movement, slowing it almost entirely removed that fun skill-based interaction. + Pros: - 1. Hitboxes: I've seen many people complain about this, but I enjoy the reduction in hitbox sizes. This game requires skill and precision. It heavily punishes bad positioning and passes. There are purely visual bugs where the ball will be just outside your hitbox and your model will reach and give up on the ball, but that is not an error on the game, thats an error on the player. Your positioning was off. People were over-reliant on auto-correction features so they reduced the hitboxes. People were only receiving with Push-Pass (Space/A/X), so they made it take 3secs to recover the ball if you use it to receive a high pass, absolutely destroying your tempo. It forces you to play correct or fail, no safety nets. - 2. Goalie: They continued to make goalie more fun to play. It used to be too easy to catch shots on goal and when you missed a catch it was likely due to a bug. Now near misses result in deflections that you opponent can capitalize on, so if you don't read the offense and your defense correctly it will result in your team being scored on. - 3. Gameplay: Highly enjoyable, if have good people on both teams. If you're looking for realism, go elsewhere. The high intensity, action movie-style gameplay is what sets the game apart from its competitors and what makes it better than them in my opinion. It could use more permanent game modes though, they have 2-3 game modes (such as 1v1s) that rotate in and out, which makes no sense but whatever. - 4. Potential: This game has the potential to be greater than Rocket League, it just needs wiser minds looking out for it's best interests, less influence from outside organizations, and more player-centric changes. As the game is, I can find things to enjoy, but I have to ignore a lot of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I pray that will lessen with future updates to the game. + Scores: - Store: 0/10 - Battlepass: 8/10 - Character Customization: 7.5/10 - Technical Stability: 8.5/10 - Gameplay: 9/10 - Overall Enjoyment: 8.5/10

I love this game to death, but even though i recommend it, i advise you to enter this game with the idea of what it is, and the player base in it. Most people do not play this as a team based game, rather a "Blue Lock" or "Main character syndrome" infestation is what populates it. Despite that, when you manage to find an active team that seeks to play it like a proper football game, that's where the game shines. Its a blend between real football adding some arcade elements to it, but not without its flaws. It's still riddled with clunky interactions with the ball to this day despite the devs trying to iron it out. In my honest opinion, you're paying for a great football game that nothing else can simulate in the market, even invoking some nostalgia with the old fifa street series back in the day. But bear in mind, i believe the game is ironing itself out still, and when the foundation and gameplay are fully developed, it might open up and go free to play. Or die, but hopefully that's not the case. All in all if you have some mates or a team to play with, definitely a good time.

Great game but don't join a quick match 3v3 unless you want freshly lobotomized teammates
