You Can't Stop The Rock !!! Tower defence genre is not my cup of tea at all but this game was pretty fun and entertaining. The gameplay is rather simple : we need to defend our awesome rock band and their big stage from 10 waves of non-rock fans using different types of towers/speakers (8 in total). Some invaders are really nothing to worry about but some of them have bigger health bars , some are really fast and some are just nasty ;). There are also bosses with the biggest health bars in the game but they are also extremely slow. There are 40 stages in total across 4 worlds (Pop World , Country World , EDM World and Hell) : every stage has a bit of a strategy to it but not nearly as much as in other TD games. This game is simple and you can finish it with no problems at all even without a guide. But this game is not perfect by any means. Throughout the whole game i chose only 2 types of speakers cause the other 6 are pretty useless and weak especially towards the end. There are also some problems with difficulty : sometimes the last couple of stages are much easier than stages from the very beggining of the world (less bosses , fewer enemies etc.). UI is pretty clunky : some dialogue windows are non fully visible on screen or sometimes they are visible but (they) are blocking other elements on the screen. What wasn't clunky at all but freaking awesome and kickass is a wonderful OST : 10 wonderfully badass songs from 7 talented bands made this game much more vibrant and memorable. It really tied the room game together ;). P.S. !!! \m/ ROCK \m/ \m/ METAL \m/ \m/ FRIENDSHIP \m/ !!!

I used to think this game was way too hard. It's very important to start waves early for the cash bonus. I gave the game another chance today and got 100% achievements in one sitting. Great game.

small but interesting game, i really liked it. it keeps you intrigued, at lest it keeps me, but in my opinion its satisfying to find the right placement of speakers and watch them not get past, it gets even better knowing you have an objective, its so simple but you cant stop playing it. . oh and the greed you feel after you got everything upgraded and you still get money :> , the game has cool songs in the background too, i might be onto nothing but thats how i feel.

Finally, a game that lets me defend the one thing I love more than my personal space: loud, face-melting rock! To be fair, it's far from perfect: - It's fairly simple - The graphics aren’t the best (but a cool retro style anyway) - Some gameplay flaws (try placing a tower next to the stage without accidentally unleashing your special) - Replayability is low... except for the music! BUT(T)! It’s still a really cool game: - The music rocks! (Though there aren’t enough tracks for a solid rotation) - The concept is awesome: a tower defense game to save Rock music! - Your weapons are your amps going to 11, how cool is that ?! - Perfect for quick gaming sessions - Lots of achievements for all you achievement hunters - Less than 1€ game (grab it during a sale!) In the end, it’s a solid 6/10 for me. Would shred and defend again!

I have to admit, this game was my first tower defense game and I only bought it because of the music and also because it was on sale. The idea itself is great and if you're able to overlook a few flaws, you're into rock and metal or need a break from blatant 3D games, then give it a try. Feedback for the developers; if you're working on an update or Rock 'N' Roll Defense 2... *At first it feels a little challenging, but then it gets easier and easier and almost boringly easy. *Levels with optional difficulties and more waves would be a great addition to a replay value. *More songs for the variety aspect would be great as well. And more of the humor, which is there but comes up way too short. *The characters and drawings are cool and even tho and it's a matter of taste, the logo for the game, ...how can I put this nicely? Was almost the reason not to buy the game. *The DJ is half cringe half kinda cool, please make up your mind. If we're going to fend off annoying DJ types, than they should look like David Guetta goofs, not really DJing at all and just putting on a show.
