Tower defence mixed with FPS? count me in. This game takes both elements and combine them in a very good way. Even today this game aged well, peraphs the graphics are lacking but the gameplay makes up for it. Got the game for 3 $ with a friend, totally worth it.

This game is fucking awesome I am genuinely surprised this type of format hasn't been done more often, the blend of a co-op horde shooter with tower defense is just magical. Sanctum 3 would be cool.

Recently went back to play this game I loved it as a kid, and man, it still holds up! Pro tip: if you edit the engine.ini file in your Documents folder to uncap the frame rate, the game runs at 400-500 fps, and it feels so much smoother. It really makes a difference. The music, atmosphere, graphics, and strategy are still as good as I remember and still to this day are just as impressive and immersive feels like a weird fusion of Mirrors Edge and Destiny 2 in terms of vibes and i love it. Don’t listen to the negative review not sure whats up with that guy that just posted one – the real strategy isn’t just in the turrets. It’s all about how you build your maze along with the turrets then the class and perks you have. There’s a lot more depth to it than people might think. If you haven't played Sanctum 2 yet, or it’s been a while, you should definitely check it out. It’s like if Destiny 2 and Dungeon Defenders had a baby. Multiple classes, different towers to unlock, a bunch of difficulty levels, and tons of progression. Plus, it’s multiplayer, so it’s a blast with friends. Honestly, if they made a third game, I think it could blow up. Imagine bigger maps, a deeper campaign, more class/build options, and maybe even a skill tree. Turrets could get even better too. There’s so much room for improvement, but even as it is, it’s awesome. In conclusion just set it to max graphics, uncap the fps in the ini file, tweak the keybinds a bit, buy all the dlc just to have all the content (more turrets, classes, perks, maps.) and you’re good to go. More people need to be playing this game – it’s a hidden gem with well over 25 hours of content!

NOTE: I have around 200 hours on my old account on this game. Awesome game, unfortunately, it's dead (multiplayer is really hard to find). Sanctum 3 would be very much appreciated.

Phenomenal FPS TD Game. This plus orcs must die are the best of this style of TD of controlling your own character in the mess while making your tower defense. Rip Deathtrap never actually making it to the finish line. Maybe one day that Sanctum 3 will come.
