Seed Hunter 猎源 is a fast-paced 2D action roguelite that mixes fluid combat, cartoon-styled visuals, and a hefty dose of build experimentation into a compact but energetic package. Developed by Wolf Knight and published by 2P Games, it follows an alien hunter stranded on Earth and tasked with recovering mysterious “source seeds” across procedurally generated levels. Like many roguelites, it embraces repetition as part of its design philosophy—each failed attempt fuels the next, each run introduces new combinations of weapons and cards, and each encounter encourages mastery of its combat rhythm. What distinguishes Seed Hunter is its frantic melee focus, stylish hand-drawn animations, and an unexpectedly large arsenal that continuously nudges you toward new playstyles. The foundation of the game lies in its expansive weapon system. With more than thirty weapons across multiple categories—including swords, dual blades, bows, kunai, axes, greatswords, and sword-and-shield combinations—every run feels shaped by the tools you find early on.
