A great addition to Blender. I mostly use blender for my sculptures but this software really opens up my creative possibilities, letting me speed through projects that will usually take hours in blender or any traditional sculpting program by letting me freely zoom closer into my sculpt and use a natural hand movements add the smallest of details with ease.

This is a good sculpting program. Maybe the best if you struggle like I am with pen tablets. I will send a thumbs up, however, this 2025 update, which I won't buy, we need to talk about that. I want your product to be successful, company to grow and the team to make great money, but amount of things you added there is too underwhelming to open up my wallet. HDRI and kit bashing I can do these things in blender just fine. align object to the ground, everyone can live without it. grab object and the scene, these things don't even add anything important to the table. It's nice you guys are keeping your perpetual licence promise, but if you want me throw cash down bring in more useful tools like simulations, things that'd help creating micro details, or go creative and create a vr unwrapping method or something. Just please bring in actual solutions, and I'll buy the next iteration. See you in 2026.

I've waited a year or so to purchase this software. I finally really needed it for work. Wonderful so far! A little expensive with the subscription as well but I will always happily pay for good tools that help make my life easier. I'm an electrical engineer. I use Fusion 360 for all of my CAD work. I was looking for some software that would allow me to easily clean up and modify my 3D scans. I needed to stay away from software that was too similar to Fusion 360, so I didn't start overwriting my muscle memory for navigating my CAD software. ( I use a lot of different software so I'm running out of brain space) This is an absolute game changer for me. The VR environment allows me to intuitively use many of the tools provided by Shapelab. I've never used a mesh sculpting software until Shapelab. Within a few minutes I had my 3D scan imported and I was making great progress on the clean up. So much better than my scanner's software! I brought a Youtube screen into the Shapelab environment so I could listen to some relaxing music, I enabled a nice environment to work in. Amazing. I love that I could quickly scale the model as big as I needed, to clean up small imperfections in the scan. Using full arm movement to smooth and fix textures felt like I was carefully sanding body filler on a vehicle or sculpting a giant statue. This was truly a beautiful and relaxing experience. I spent 3 hours perfectly cleaning up the 3D scan and I'm actually excited for the next one. Cleaning up 3D scans is great but I'm really looking forward to taking time for making custom mesh models as well. Thank you for the great software!

My first impression is extraordinary. I've been using ZBrush for 5 years, and I started by examining what differences it has compared to ZBrush. It seems to provide everything I need to create a model at its core. It certainly has potential for further development, but beyond everything, there's a fun aspect to it because it's VR. It would be wrong to compare it to other industrial software. It's not just fun, but it can also be used to produce real assets. I will continue to use it more. And it definitely deserves its price.

imo the best 3D sculpting tool for VR. Community is nice in the discord, and the devs actually care what people want to see in their product with future updates. 9\10. will become 10\10 for me when hard surface modeling is more available with new tools. Devs, you are amazing!
