Very much recommend SNO, especially if you have a handheld such as the Steam Deck to play on. I have been playing 99% of the time on my Steam Deck and can very easily vouch that performance is excellent, and the ease of getting into the game and just playing has made it my go-to game to pick up and play for short spurts the last month. It's a very calm game with a high skill ceiling, and the develop has done an excellent job over the last month of adding new features and fixing bugs. I appreciate the challenge of trying to beat my own scores and hunting down the rabbits for new skins (also achievement related). If the dev is reading, one thing that would really keep me coming back is if there was a time-based race mode, and potentially the ability to see my own (or other's) ghosts to race against. Maybe that goes against the "Ultimate Freeriding" part of the title, but throwing it out there for consideration. 10/10 recommend as a pick up and play chill snowboard/ski game that you'll have installed for a long time to come.

10/10. Smooth, responsive, weighty, addicting. I love the way this game plays and how easy it is to pickup, play for any amount of time, and put down. Runs fantastic, being a perfect steamdeck/handheld game. Devs are great, being very interactive with the community and quickly addressing any bugs or engine issues constantly. Absolutely worth what I paid for. The game also has really nice accessibility settings if you are concerned about that.

Weave your way through dense groves of trees and perform death-defying flips as you leave your troubles behind atop an endlessly-tall mountain. True to its name, SNØ excels at delivering realistic, satisfying snow physics; your board will leave convincing imprints on the freshly-fallen snow as you make your way down the procedurally-generated mountainside, which contributes to an overwhelming sense of flow one feels while playing this game. Going for large combos manages to be simultaneously both exhilarating and calming due to how it feels to interact with the game world, and the overall experience genuinely helped me work through some difficult thoughts when I played it, so it passes my litmus test for an engrossing (yet cozy) stress relief game. 8/10 - Nominated for the Sit Back and Relax award

Relaxing game about skiing and snowboarding in random mountains that are very minimalistic and beautiful. It's fun, relaxing and satisfying. I recommend. And Mario Sunshine's dolphins recommend it too.

This is a damn good ski/snowboard game, but it took about 5-10 hours to fully grasp the control/scoring system. Once you figure that out it becomes pretty addictive. I bought it on sale for $8. Well worth it. It also runs great on the Deck.
