A fun space-theme puzzle game with a well-built physics engine. This addictive game is extremely easy to figure out, but surprisingly difficult to master. Despite thinking that this game amusing and enjoyable enough for me to recommend it to the average user, I'll go ahead and tell completionists like myself not to buy this game. If you're anything like me, you'll want to get all the achievements without consulting any walkthrough or achievement guide, and let me tell you it's some of the most difficult ♥♥♥♥ I've ever had to go through. If you don't care about some good 'ol cheevos, you'll enjoy this. 7/10

Solar flux is an incredible puzzle game. + The controls are as precise as they can get + Very clear and beautiful design + One of the best scoring systems + A lot of variety in the various challenges ; enough to prevent the game from feeling too repetitive

Solar Flux has good graphics and its gameplay is fun. The puzzles start simple becoming more difficult as you progress. The mechanics are well thought out and the physics plays as you would expect. I am looking forward to a replay so I can tackle that last third of the game. 6.5/10

Like Gravity Ghost, Solar Flux is a game that I was surprised to not enjoy the gameplay of. The challenge of efficiently managing inertia, limited fuel and gravity is something I'm excited by, and combining that with navigational puzzles/movement challenges is for want of a better term, my jam. My space jam, if you will. Maybe it's the way that orbits in Solar Flux are mechanically expressed as rigid states or that gravity based slingshotting isn't really possible. Maybe I just never mastered the controls. Either way, I felt like I rarely found the gameplay or puzzles rewarding. This has been interesting as it's given me some things to reflect on for the gravity/inertia based game prototype I made a while back and the way it exposes and expresses its gameplay. I don't regret playing Solar Flux, but I feel like I exist on the periphery of, if not outside its audience.

A typical game for any nerds, if there's still any out there. You visit stars, loads of stars, some levels have four suns, some underpowered and some about to blow but your machine is build to be friendly with the suns across four galaxies in hte game. The game is hard and it is funny when you lose because the ship is tough to align. It is a very very nerdy game. This game is better then Star Wars if it encourages players to be friendly towards any star across galaxies. This game prepares any future astronaut to be friends with the suns. A shame that all the suns are represented with the color of the level tier. I would of liked if the colored sun would mix together and be in one level, not divided! Also the game has good graphics.
