The game isn't bad by any means, however, I feel like the video's need to better show off how the combat and general scale of the game actually looks. For a time before trying the game I had thought the game was more or less like Stellaris, or something akin to Sins of a Solar Empire. But was rather disappointed by the general map size/scale. The game seems much smaller than I had anticipated. That's by no means a bad thing, but I will say I personally prefer a larger scale scenario. Overall, I would highly recommend you try the game at least, and try the tutorial as it allows you to figure out the game slowly and at your own pace without risk of being curb stomped by an AI. But will say, you can probably explore everything the game currently has to offer within said tutorial. Which for me, took less than an hour. I could maybe see this game being fun in the future, and maybe a lot will change in time. But I can only recommend the game to those who prefer smaller scale space combat with a bit more of a unique 3d twist to it. If I had to compare it to anything, it'd be like Age of Empires mixed with some kind of space rts, but not as much of a grand rts as either could be considered. Its very much cinematically interesting, but not so much in the RTS aspect. I recommend the game however regardless of my personal un-enjoyment of the game, because I can see the promise in it and that those who aren't quite to the grand scale of rts yet, can find some more comfort in something a bit more instantly action packed, if not slightly smaller scale than say something like Stellaris, Sins of a Solar Empire, or games of said scale. It's very much a cozy kind of game, but it simply isn't for me at this current moment. Something I would enjoy more, is having the ability to build more than one building at a time, rather than queing up blueprints of where I want to build more. While also being allowed to que up buildings even if I don't have the resources. I also wish getting the experimental ships was more grand rather than them simply popping into existence once you purchase them via the resources. Also, having a total ship cap of only 40 seems rather small in the grand scheme of things. Not sure if that was only for the tutorial, but either way, not a entirely great experience having so few ships fighting. Will also say, the sun launcher is a bit... OP and I can see it being something a lot of people immediately rush towards in the game to immediately win. Its pretty expensive, but if you know how to manage resources for defense and expansion, there won't be much your enemy can do to stop you from just rushing towards that, surrounding it in defensive platforms and artillery, and hunkering down till you're ready to launch it at the enemies shipyard. Where you have to hope you upgraded it enough to tank the explosion and impact as well as the directional damage. Even if it fails at destroying the shipyard, it basically cripples you to death ensuring a easy cleanup.

This game while amazing. is a HOT mess when it comes to the graphical settings. You can choose 5120x1440 but there is no way to apply it. You cannot skip the tutorial despite the option being available it doesn't work. The intro is ear F**king ....

Wow, I am kind of Speechless. I went in not expecting much. Played the Tutorial and was able to easily grasp how to play the game. I enjoy space games and RTS games and this was actually Really good. Pros: Easy to Learn Can Customize Ships Reminds me of a Classic Command and Conquer Style in Space Base Building Is Great I got really focused in the game for a few hours, lost track of time Has a Small Campaign (Have not played yet but will update when I play it.) *It has Loot Boxes, BUT WAIT! The catch is that its all in game and doesn't cost. Its literally a CLASSIC loot box system similar to that of the Original Command and Conquer Red Alert where you would find boxes on the map except in this you destroy the enemy ships for the chance to drop the loot boxes and those pickups give you upgrades to use for your ship builds and also unlocks more ship designs. (I ENJOY THIS TYPE OF LOOT BOX SYSTEM)* Cons: I am gonna be honest here... I really didn't see any downsides to this game. I had fun and it was well made for an early access game. Paid $20 for the game, definitely worth it. If you like space games and if you like Base Building, etc. You will enjoy this I am sure of that.

Having a blast so far! Helping to mend a heart broken by the abomination that is HW3.. This game has sooo much potential & deserves way more promotion. The comparison to Warzone 2100 (ah the fuzzy mems) is completely apt. Super jazzed to see where this goes. Would be willing to buy cosmetic ship build sets to support devs... & that is something i do not say often.

This game is brilliant for an early access. You can tell that the dev’s both love space strategy game and have built a game they love to play. It has elements from many brilliant strategy games of the same type with some nice, new and interesting mechanics. This game has a LOT of potential, it is very much worth the investment now as I would expect the price to go up. The wave defence mode is also a nice touch, very fun. It reminds me of a mix between Sins of a solar Empire, Star Trek Armada 2 and Supreme commander forged alliance. The graphics are beautiful, smooth and beautifully balanced. Well done, I look forward to seeing how “endless” the wave defence is, because I am aiming for 1000 :-D. I can see this game evolving and I am very much here for it.
