(Reviewed from someone who prefers C&C or Age of Empires types of RTS) good, some things I like.. art is charming, atmosphere is good. gameplay of units is good for tactical choices to make. thinks I'm not keep on.. missions can take a long time. making bad decisions will probably result in a reload or restart as you cant rebuild your army. ending in possible "save scumming" cannot make more units or any structures. you can get reinforcments and so can the enemy but you have no idea how or when or if you will do.

Sudden Strike was my first PC game. I was only four years old when I played it, and I still remember thrilling trailer and memorable vehicles. It has taken me twenty years to finally find out the name of that game — Sudden Srike Gold.

You like it hard? You like it old school 2d? No building production - this is the game for you. Cons - damn enemy artillery shoots like an automatic turret, no indication where enemy vehicles can spawn from the edge of the map and no indication if you will get 10 or 10000 more people as reinforcements in that mission 9/10

Nostalgic for me Does not hold up well in 2024 but an extremely realistic game (with troop movement and war tactics) to an extent where even 'easy' can take you hours on a single mission
