Dec. 2025
I'm mostly reviewing this so the devs can see. It is extremely barebones and basic, and there's definitely not enough to justify someone sitting down and reaching max level, BUT the basic core mechanics of the game are fun. With enough updates, which the devs seem to be doing great at, it should eventually become a pretty good game. Especially for the price point of $9.99. In fact, this review would be a lot more positive, if it didn't have the AI voices/songs(?), and I'm not saying that because it's AI, I'm saying that because they are BAD and actively make the game worse. The characters sound awful and grating, and it would be better if they said nothing. The music, ESPECIALLY at the burger job is so bad it makes the player not even WANT to do that job, but you HAVE to in order to progress. The music is filled with bad AI quippy lines about how bad the food is that aren't funny or interesting, and there's even a point where the AI voice breaks entirely and mid-line just starts saying "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH" before carrying on with its sentence. I actually don't mind the music that plays when flying around fighting crime, which I'm sure is also AI generated, so I didn't want to turn the audio off completely, but it is the only way to keep sanity during the burger job. Devs, if you read this, I do understand that the AI is likely just placeholders and this is EA, but please understand that the AI you've included ACTIVELY are making the game more grating to play and listen to, and it would be actually be better if you removed them entirely. If you're really married to the idea of keeping AI in the game for now, at least add a volume slider or something so we can turn it down/off. It is such a common complaint in the reviews I'm surprised you haven't done it. Also, definitely either fix the burger job audio or remove the audio track for it altogther, because it is unbearable and broken.

I give this a thumbs up very tentatively. The game is super basic and barebones right now, but the devs are very active and have been updating the game weekly. The concept is there and really cool. Flying around the city is super fun, but repetition sets in really, really quickly. It's essentially petty crimes from spider man if that's all you could do, which would be fine if the combat was interesting or even involved, but it just boils down to mashing the attack button on spongy enemies with incredibly slow combos. Villain boss fights do break up the monotony and they're definitely the highlight, with some giving a great sense of scale against the city. UI is really clunky, there's no reason that "powers" and "achievements" should be on two seperate menus. I shouldn't have to back out of one menu to see what I unlock next level, why not just have one long linear menu showing what can be unlocked? I don't mean to be overly negative, I definitely got £8 worth of enjoyment out of it, but I'd recommend waiting and seeing where the game is at a year from now. I like what is here so far, but I think it was released too early. Everything needs more. More missions, more depth to combat, better UI, more depth to the "human" aspect. I respect what has been done here with such a small team and I'm excited to see what the game will look like down the line.

this is one of those games you wish existed when you were a small child reading comic books and watching superhero movies! I've played Megaton Rainfall, Undefeated etc, but none of them scratch that feeling. With that being said this is still very early but the devs are very supportive of suggestions and advice, It's very refreshing to have the devs interact with the players on how to improve the game irt. 10/10 now let's see if Ship of Heroes is also worth the wait...

have a lot of potential! I can't wait to see more update to fix bugs add more boss, more hideout plus custom hideout, more suit, more jobs, more super abilities... Imagine if this game and No Man's Sky have a baby! We would have a superman game take place in the whole universe. I wish some one good enough and rich enough to see this idea and make it actually happen.

Good game! I love the flying which is the most important thing and graphics are just awesome. I would very much just love to fly around saving random people and doing cool stuff without losing the peace and being forced to solve the crimes. Suggestions: Some key mechanics could be improved. Such as Flying boost with L3 increasing speed at least 3 times, Superhero Landing with square, Being able to hover up and down with L2 and R2 like in Undefeated. I will very much love if the flying and combat could be similar to that game but in your own style. User should be able to navigate the menu with buttons and clicks, instead I have to hover over something and then press the button which gets boring. Problems: There are too many side quests happening at the same times and the commentators talk sarcastically which gets really annoying after a while. We should be able to focus on one quest at a time. A Mini map would be nice instead of manually accessing it console button. Should include a support for X-Box console, I was confused with the controls initially. Combat doesn't really stick better, camera angle causes a bit of issues during battles.
