Talk to Strangers is a morbidly cute game that tackles the dark reality of sales nobody talks about. It offers realistic scenarios about the rejection faced by door-to-door salesmen with the whimsical bunch of characters. Each character is well-written with deep backstories. The visual and dialogues help you get to know each of them and find the perfect sales pitch that would help you land the sale. The game is best played through trial and error, as what sales is in real life. You get to see different endings that may pull on your heartstrings or even scare you. It honestly brought me back to my first job where I worked in telesales and I had to put up with people's personal lives even if I never asked for it. It is not a perfect game, but it's worth playing.

Nice salesman sim. It’s short but fun, with plenty of replayability and lots of different events. Basically you go door to door selling products to your neighbors, every house is different and so is the personality of whoever answers the door. The game encourages multiple playthroughs because you gradually learn more about your neighbors: what they prefer, when they’re home, what time is best to sell your products etc. One of the most unique things is neighbors including a Reaper, robot, dog, cultists etc. Sometimes staying alive becomes more important than making a sale. Even though the game doesn’t have a save function, you can buy a time machine and you can rewind if you make a bad choice and die. The more you play, the more familiar you become with each neighbor, you’ll likely discover new dialogue and hidden content. You can make a simple sale by choosing the right options, but there’s much more to uncover if you keep exploring. One of the most unforgettable moments is the guy who catches fire yet stays calm, and that cultist with a sex slaves when he opens the door. Overall, it’s a nice game at an affordable price, I recommend it. [url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/43342176-Why-Not-Games/#browse] My curator page

A fun and simple game. Humor, visuals and sountrack are nice. Although, I wish you check stats like the current quota and what day is it in more places than just the report card, since you might skip it easily and not see those.

Have you ever wondered what goes on in the minds of old ladies and old men? No? Well, the author of this game wondered about it, and wondered so much that he made an entire game based on these thoughts. 10 out of 10 grandmothers

Talk To Strangers: The door to door salesman sim. Talk to Strangers puts you in the shoes of a door-to-door salesman working for “Sunny Morning.” What are you selling? Doesn’t really matter – most people won’t want it anyway. Your job is to figure out how to approach each person at their door while keeping your stress and mood in check. It’s a mix of strategy, guesswork, and a little bit of charm. You start each day in your motel, where you can grab items to help you relax or even rewind time. Then, it’s off into the neighborhood to knock on doors. Some people are easy to read: the sweet grandma likes small talk, while the stoner down the street probably just wants snacks. Others are trickier, and sometimes it’s impossible to make a sale if someone isn’t home. Luckily, the game only asks for a small quota, so you don’t feel crushed when things don’t go your way. Failure is part of the process and it actually helps too. Each mistake gives you tips for future runs, and with the short length and multiple endings, starting over doesn’t feel too bad. The writing is fun, the characters are quirky, and the overall vibe stays lighthearted – even when doors keep slamming in your face. All in all... Talk to Strangers is short, silly, and surprisingly charming. It won’t be anyone’s game of the year, but for the low price and all the different endings to chase, it’s well worth opening the door for.
