Don't Go into this thinking its anything like team fight manager 1 Its not bad but its so much more info to learn i do wish you didn't have to start with a whole team alr set up i wish i could start from almost nothing and build my way up like the first game but non the less still a great game so far, i do miss the little things from the first game like getting attached to some players and having them trained up from the bottom to the top or how they all had there own special traits and ♥♥♥♥. i do wish that the players had champs they were better at like the first game even pros on league have that one trick they are know for playing i hope they add a mode or way to start with rookies like in the first game and be able to build up to the champion ship leagues that's what made me love the first game so much

I have around 100 hours between playtests and the Early Access release. I understand the mixed bag reviews that are coming with the quick rise in popularity the game had yesterday due to Twitch streamers, etc. Personally, I'm not here for the finished product. I'm here because this game has tons of potential and I want to participate in the improvement of the game. I believe the game is, as Samoyed intended, in a playable state. I also believe the game clearly has problems, between UI, AI, QOL, optimization, etc. This game has a lot of potential, and I believe Samoyed is doing it justice. I'm very excited about the present and about the future of this game. I cannot recommend it enough. But it is not supposed to be a finished product just yet. For people who love MOBAs and Management Sims, this game is/will be absolutely perfect. I also want to add that the game is already developing a very dedicated modding community and that this can massively improve the game experience already out of the bat. The game is not very polished as of today, but I believe you can already feel what the core experience of the game is like, and, judging by that, I cannot recommend it enough to anyone who might love some spreadsheet gaming.

This game in its current state is neutral. I've been following this game since devlog #1 and took part in the very first playtest. I love this game mainly because it's combining two of my favourite things, Football Manager and League of Legends esports. However I'm also frustrated at this game because of its varying quality. Ban/pick is genuinely fun when you understand the rock-paper-scissors of champions, team compositions, and tactical instructions. I mainly set my team up to play a very heavy rush comp utilising mainly Cavalry and Jiangshi and as of writing this review, we're currently sitting 11-2 in first place. That said my biggest praise for the ban/pick is how it's quick enough that doing it manually doesn't feel like a chore while slow enough to give you time to think your draft through. Recruitment is very basic but it does the basics well enough that I don't mind it. I just wish that there was a better way to sell players. My current team has like 13 players because no one wants to buy my players. I could release them but that costs more than just paying their salary. The UI imo is fine. It conveys the information it wants to convey while also being complex enough for deeper analysis. I can see why it could be confusing to some people but as someone coming from Football Manager, it's fine. Could be better, could be worse. The AI is frustrating. I found myself screaming at my players because they kept getting picked off trying to catch a wave in mid. When my team dominates early-game, they suddenly lose all sense of macro or micro and start walking in one-by-one to die. I've actually come close to losing or have lost a few games because of this. I've been reading the reviews and it seems that many people are complaining about the same thing. HOWEVER, when the AI works it REALLY works. I mentioned before that I like to play heavy rush comps and when these work, it is so satisfying to see 5 players just steamrolling the map. I've also dabbled in pick comps using Executioner and skirmish comps with Lancer, and these are all satisfying when they work as well. That said, I honestly prefer the AI in the first playtest. Maybe it's nostalgia and I'm only remembering the good parts, but I remember having more fun with it than I do with the current AI. I've also seen people complaining that stats are hard to raise in this game but in my experience, my players gets +1 to 4 of their stats, depending on training, each week. So if a player starts training at 16, then they should become a world-class player by 18 or 19 depending on potential. The tutorial could and should be better. The cutscenes/dialogue is too tedious and my first game that I played with the tutorial is actually soft-locked because my final opponent in the tutorial has less than 5 players in their team which prevented me from progressing further in the tutorial. Thankfully I had prior knowledge from the playtest to play the game without the tutorial but if I played this game without any experience, I would've just refunded. At the end of the day though, this game is trying to do something that other games have barely done and that is a full blown esports management game with Football Manager levels of detail. That's incredibly ambitious, especially for a small team like Team Samoyed, so while the game definitely has issues, I also understand that a game like this will take time. TL;DR Game is both frustrating and satisfying at the same time which is FINE. It's an early access game and I have full confidence in the devs. If you love Football Manager OR esports, you'll probably have a great time with this game.
