It's good, Job Job really carries it but there's not a bad game in the pack, just not a lot of stand-out good ones I would say pick it up, but not as your first pack

Jackbox 8 isn't as strong as some of the other packs but it's still worth the money. Like all the party packs, they are usually good fun! This pack fell just a tad short for me. Still, I recommend it because we did have fun playing this. Drawful: Animate is just more Drawful, and I'm not the biggest fan of it. It's a great concept, but again, it's more Drawful. Also, why the heck did we lose the eraser? That's an unnecessary challenge added. Please give us erasers and more colors. Job Job is easily the best game of the pack. You answer interview questions using other people's prompts. It gets INCREDIBLY hilarious at times. Definitely worthy of lots of replays. The Poll Mine is surprisingly enjoyable. You answer survey questions and you have to guess which are the least/most popular amon your entire group of players. Easily a fun one because you can see how people think! Weapons Drawn is really fun with the right group. You draw gifts, weapons, and murder! You have to throw people off your trail while also finding murderers using a letter in their name as the clue to the weapon. If you love a good mystery, then you will love this one. Keeping in theme with each pack having a dud game... The Wheel of Enormous Proportions is a game you need just the right people to play. It's entirely random who wins in the end even if you do well with the questions. Granted you can get some HILARIOUS responses to your questions, but it feels like this game is by far the weakest game in this pack. It's still worth the $30 in my opinion.

The Jackbox Party Pack 8 continues the franchise’s tradition of delivering quick, quirky, and socially-driven mini-games perfect for parties, streams, or casual get-togethers. Developed by Jackbox Games, this eighth entry maintains the formula of bundling five distinct games into a single package, each one leveraging humor, creativity, and crowd participation as core gameplay elements. While the collection doesn’t radically reinvent the franchise, it introduces fresh mechanics and a couple of standout titles that make it a worthwhile addition to the ever-growing Jackbox catalog. The pack opens with Drawful: Animate, a clever evolution of one of Jackbox’s most popular drawing games. As the name suggests, players now draw two-frame animations instead of static images, adding a layer of creativity and absurdity that enhances the already chaotic charm of the original. The added movement makes it easier to communicate certain ideas—and, ironically, even easier to misinterpret them—resulting in a constant stream of hilarious guesses and moments of shared confusion. It’s a strong start to the pack and arguably the highlight, especially for players who enjoy drawing games and visual humor. The Wheel of Enormous Proportions is the second title in the pack and brings a game-show aesthetic with a quirky, mystical theme. Players answer trivia questions to earn spins on a giant, colorful wheel that determines points, power-ups, and occasionally dramatic twists of fate. The presentation is slick, with a talking, sarcastic wheel that injects personality into the game. While it leans more on chance than some other trivia games in the series, it manages to balance knowledge and luck in a way that keeps it fun for players of all skill levels. However, the game can drag a bit, especially with larger groups, as wheel spins and animations take time to resolve. Job Job is a standout concept that leans heavily into absurdist humor. Players respond to job interview prompts using words pulled from other players’ previous answers, creating weird, jumbled, and often hilariously broken responses. The fun here lies in how ridiculous the resulting sentences can be and how well players use the mess of words to craft convincing or comedic replies. It taps into the same energy as games like Mad Libs or Quiplash, but with a more structured framework. Job Job benefits from strong writing and an understanding of comedic timing, making it one of the most original and memorable entries in this pack. The fourth game, The Poll Mine, introduces a more strategic, team-based experience. Players rank answers to a given prompt in secret, then work with teammates to guess the collective order as they explore a dark cave. It’s a mix of social deduction and puzzle-solving, and it rewards insight into group psychology more than traditional trivia or creativity. The visual style and thematic presentation are engaging, with a dungeon-delving flair and a sense of progression that builds suspense. Still, The Poll Mine may not land as well with groups unfamiliar with each other, as much of the enjoyment relies on accurately predicting group preferences. Rounding out the pack is Weapons Drawn, a deduction-heavy murder mystery game where everyone is both killer and detective. What makes it unique is that players must draw their weapons—literally—incorporating a letter from their name into the drawing. The twist is that you leave your weapon behind at the crime scene, and others must deduce whose weapon it was based on the drawing. It’s clever, layered, and ambitious, though the rules and mechanics take some time to grasp. Inexperienced groups may find it harder to follow, and like some other deduction games, it’s best enjoyed with players who are invested in unraveling the puzzle rather than rushing through. From a technical standpoint, Jackbox Party Pack 8 follows the familiar and accessible format: one device hosts the game, and all participants join via browser on phones or tablets. This ease of use continues to be a major strength of the series. The games are well-optimized, load quickly, and offer helpful options like moderation, audience participation, and content filters. That said, the overall visual design, while polished, is starting to show its formulaic structure across packs. Each game has its own theme, but there’s a clear aesthetic consistency that could start to feel repetitive to long-time players. What Jackbox Party Pack 8 does well is variety. Whether your group prefers trivia, drawing, wordplay, or strategy, there's something here to enjoy. The balance between creative expression and structured gameplay is well-maintained across the collection, and games like Drawful: Animate and Job Job inject enough innovation to keep things fresh. Still, the pack doesn’t feel as universally strong as some earlier entries—there’s no single game with the breakout potential of Fibbage, Quiplash, or Tee K.O., but several solid experiences that depend on group chemistry to truly shine. In conclusion, The Jackbox Party Pack 8 is another dependable entry in a long-running series known for its social, offbeat fun. It brings enough new ideas to entertain returning players, while remaining accessible to newcomers. While not every game hits the same high note, the overall collection is strong, particularly with the creative highs of Drawful: Animate and Job Job. It’s not the most essential pack in the series, but it’s a worthy addition for party game enthusiasts and a reliable go-to for a fun, laughter-filled night with friends or stream audiences. Weapons Drawn is by far my favorite game in this pack. It's a combination of Tee K.O. and Fakin' It from previous packs. Job Job is also a very entertaining game that my cousins and siblings love to play
