Yes, it's short. 60-90 minutes depending on how fast you figure out each of the four levels. Another 30-60 minutes to chase the achievements which I think is worth it. But the game is full of charm and personality. It's genuinely fun start to finish, and still manages to be an interesting way of telling you that life is short and to make the most of it, without lecturing you. Money is a hard thing, especially at this moment in time. But I have no regrets about paying for Time Flies. If you're not sure, wait a little while for a sale. But when you open your heart to sweet, goofy little guys like this, the opening your wallet part becomes an afterthought.

Is this game short? yes. is this game simple? yes. is this game fun? also yes. games don't have to be 40 hours of story and 4k 1000fps to be good. this game is funny, interesting, and easy to play, so even I can do it. now get out there and fly (for only around ~70 seconds)

I adore this game. I'm only sad that it was so short! I'm 3 hours in, got through the game, got all the puzzle pieces, and all the achievements. If you're looking for something more to do as an excuse to play a little longer, try beating all 4 levels with the country set to Lesotho (shortest lifespan). I finished that and it was a solid challenge, particularly the last level. Good luck!

Time flies and we need to make the most of it. We want to do it all in the short amount of time we have. There was something so sweet and sentimental about this game even with no dialogue or traditional "storytelling" to it. You're just a fly, but really this is about all the things you want to do with life, and we have such a finite amount of time to do those things. Also just really impressed with how much this game does with such a simple gameplay loop/mechanic. Really goes the distance in a really smart way, such that whenever I discovered little things I found myself smiling to myself as I played. Great game!

Time Flies by was a treat. I've been waiting for this game forever. Many many flies have lived and died. It didn't disappoint, it was fun marking things off my list while buzzing around, finding puzzles pieces and funny gags here and there. The game "silly" look pairs well with its more evocative elements, like your constant deaths or the fact that your time alive is tied to where you are born/live IRL. The game does gets under your skin after a while, you try to accomplish your goals, time runs out, you die. You try again but there is rarely time to spare... And in the end, that is what I take away from the game—time flies, and how much you have is not in your control, so enjoy yourself and be kind. Would definitely recommend!
