Its basically a casual mood setter for getting into DCS, wish it had more content though. Would be nice to have other terrains, jets and weapons.

I do recommend it if you can get it on a discount, what's here is great but the trouble is there's not a lot to do at the moment and development is very slow. The game's been in early access for 3 years and not much has been added in that time.

This is a great low-fidelity flight sim that feels sufficiently realistic while also being able to hop in and instantly have fun. Weapons feel satisfying, and the flight model is simplified to the perfect level to be accessible to anyone while still feeling sim-like. The data-driven content is also great, allowing modders to easily add new aircraft and weapons. It is lacking in levels and ground units, and I wish there was a more in-depth scenario editor, but I know that the dev is working on this. I don't think it's worth $20 in its current state, but I'm not mad about the money I spent and I'm excited to see where this project goes.

This game genuinely has the potential to become DCS for the average person (and PC). I'm really enjoying it so far, and I look forward to later additions and improvements to the game (imo interesting terrain options would be cool). The graphics are nice and strike a good balance between DCS/X-plane realism and something you'd expect of the PS1. The game appears to have a very active modding community on Discord. Sadly the dev doesn't have multiplayer in the plans, but maybe there might be a mod for that later :P Definitely recommend for people who, like me, are too stupid to play DCS
