Fun retro sim game, but lacks of content at this stage

This game is fun, flight models feel quite good, I'm quite surprised actually how well the aircraft feels. Massive pros are: 1. Support for hotas, vjoy devices, and you can calibrate axis in the game itself. The throttle on my hotas was working only from middle position by default, and I could calibrate it 2. Support for trackir and other head tracking solutions (I use Beam Eye tracker) 3. The particle effects, smoke, fire are fantastic. The aircraft HUD also looks and feels amazing. 4. The existence of this game is a huge pro Cons: 1. Today's evening seems to have disappeared in a blink of an eye. This is definitely this game's issue because that doesn't happen to me with other games. I only wish it had a coop mode and maybe more missions / a more detailed mission maker kind of like what DCS has. Also, even the hardest bots felt right on my level, even though I don't have much experience dogfighting. This wouldn't be an issue if it had a coop mode. Ok that's it. I'm off to watch some dog fighting maneuver tutorials on YouTube

Especially with the workshop packages now available, Tiny Combat Arena is an incredible sandbox for setting up battles between Western and Eastern Bloc forces from the Cold War era to the modern day. Even without these add-ons, the base game is an accessible but faithful Harrier simulator with gorgeous retro visuals. Where the enemies (and especially ground fire) will pose a challenge, but the flight controls are easy to learn, similar to flight sims from the 1990s that appealed to a much wider audience than today's down-to-the-switch accurate simulators. Highly recommended for anyone with an interest in aviation, and fighter jets in particular. And an absolute must-play for anyone who fondly remembers the flight sims of yesteryear that anyone could pick up and play, but that were still faithful to the flying machines and the tactics of the era. While it might be fun to use a HOTAS setup, I've found that a gamepad works perfectly well. With some commands less essential during a dogfight or bombing run simply left bound to keyboard inputs.

cool game, reminds me of a-10 cuba, and all the much better now with workshop support!

Its basically a casual mood setter for getting into DCS, wish it had more content though. Would be nice to have other terrains, jets and weapons.
