Came here from Sseth's video. I'm honestly impressed that some random korean furry was able to take his vore and inflation fetish and turn it into genuinely good and creative game mechanics. Legitimately one of the better and more unique metroidvanias I've played in my life. The end can be a bit of a slog, goes on a little longer than it really needs to, but really good otherwise. Honestly if you want a proper review, just watch Sseth's video on it. That's what sold me on this game.

Where do I even begin with Tribal Hunter? I'm not a Metroidvania guy myself personally, mainly because I quickly lose interest in them but with games like Tribal Hunter I got hooked so badly recently. And when I get hooked up with a Metroidvania like this, I mean it. My hopes for this game at first weren't that huge for a fat fetish game, they usually tend to aim for more simple and arcade like projects. However this turned out to be the exception by a huge mark. I didn't expected to have this much fun with the game by any means at the end. Things like the spritework and the character design (big fan of Munch n Killsha designs) were my favorite bits of the game for sure. Like even if you aren't into the obvious fetish aspect of the game, you can really enjoy the visuals of what Tribal Hunter proposes. The whole weight gain mechanic can be a frustrating at first personally, since you need to measure yourself and don´t overdoit. But once you've gotten the hand of it, said mechanic is really fun to use. My only real complain with this absolute banger of game is the gameplay. The combat is not awful or bad personally but at some areas like the cave areas, the gameplay can feel a bit tad repetitive. Which leads to my current problem of having to farm enough XP to upgrade the 100 levels of damage, HP and magic. (Seriously, why 100 levels each?? 70-75 would have been more than enough haha). But I think this can be improved for a future sequel or another game from Melonsoda Soft. Just improve a bit more in Munch's fight aspect. (Hell, if anything just PLEASE don't make the upgrades up to 100 again). I barely had any time to play stuff lately but glad I gave Tribal Hunter another chance this year, I ended up with a great experience and with the urge to eventually make fanart of the game. Can't wait to see what Melonsoda Soft has in store for us in the following years, until then I will be looking forward to it and support their next proyect if possible. (Oh and also still trying to grind the remaining XP as I'm writing this lmao). (I have a fat fetish if it wasn't obvious at this point.)

Story of why I bought this game it all started when i was just a young boy. innocent, pure, unburdened by the cursed knowledge. i did my homework, i played my video games on old consoles and pc, i watched cartoons and i laughed at the stupidest stuff with my friends. but, as all things are, it all changed when i saw an episode of Oggy and the Cockroaches. one episode in particular. it took one episode, around 10 minutes, to leave a scar on my psyche. Xilam, you're taking charge for this. you made three damned insects inflate the poor cat and make him think that he's pregnant. what kind of twisted mind could possibly come up with such a disgusting scenario as this?! i will never be able to look at fat people the same. my life was ruined at that exact moment. there is no salvation for me. if a parent is reading this, please. for the love of everything there is that you hold dear to your heart, supervise your children. there is no greater loss than to see your blooming flower descend into the utter hell this state is. you are, after all, responsible for them. it is your duty, to bring them up in a way that will benefit all parties: you, them, the society. don't let your child down like this. apart from that, I don't really understand what pyrocynical finds attractive in this. 9/10

This game could've easily been a generic furry fetish game but it ended up being a furry fetish game with a very fun mechanic. It is a very well made platformer and I have enjoyed it way more then I thought I would

The game is awesome and really fun, I'm just worried about taking it off Private in my library or talking about it on the internet because "Haha errrrm it's giving DeviantArt/Pyrocynical!!!1!1" ‘jokes’ make me want to smash drywall
