It's a little painful to say this, but this game is better than Metroid Dread.

This game was very well made and fairly big too, even for a Metroidvania. I beat the game and did a decent amount of the side quests and it took me exactly 11 hours, but my completion rate was only at 72%. I bet there is another 4 or 5 hours of content if I wanted to 100% it, including perfecting the race segments, perfecting the battle room challenges, and finding all of the hidden items. I haven't seen the movie and I don't think it is necessary to enjoy this game, although it probably makes it more interesting. Totally worth my time and money!

If you've seen Turbo Kid, you'll love the game. Has new music and your favorites from the movie. Game plays like if metroid and megaman were put into blender for drinkable water.

What a game. WHAT A SOUNDTRACK! I didn't know that this was a movie first, so I before I played it I went back and watched that, and I'm glad I did. It made the whole story of the game and the flashbacks resonate so much more (Also, the movie is an absolute banger). I also really appreciate how you can play as Apple instead if you want. I have to say, I am 100% Turbo Kid pilled now.
