Expected a comfy game. Got an incredibly stressful game. Gradually became a comfy game with practice. Will make you rage at your friends.

I usually play solo, I like that the bot is actively working on exactly what you want it to do. Even cooling down the train or fending off cows and thieves. The easy and medium modes are great for single-player. I haven't tried hard on solo. So far the different biomes have their unique quirks that continue making the game interesting.

As a father of a 4 year old this is a brilliant same screen co-op cosy game about building railways. Teaches team-work, focus under pressure, problem solving and route planning. Each level lasts 5-10 minutes depending on how direct you want to make your track and there are secret upgrades hidden throughout the levels if you plan ahead. The vibe is mostly pretty chill and industrious, though if you accidentally route your train through a canyon or forget to give yourself room to work around it, things can become a little hectic! Simple controls (there's a bot you can direct with a context wheel in single player mode, but in co-op you only need one "interact" button) It has a really cute isometric style that appeals to myself as a gamer from the 80s and the kiddo as it looks a bit like lego, and there's lots of replayability as the map is randomly generated each time. Simple, but still worth a full price purchase when you consider how tricky it is to find this kind of game that appeals to both adults and young kids. Could also work as a party game for adults if you crank up the difficulty a bit. We've had a fun hour or so with wifey and the 2 year old (who's *not* old enough to play yet) yelling directions at one another. DEFINITELY worth bagging it if you enjoy a cosy game and you spot it for half price.

Never before had a dev respond to any feedback or even support requests with anything but an automatic message saying "no" in a lot of fancy words. When I had problems with this game I was contacted within hours I and only little time later the game was bootable and after that additional bugfixes where made available. I am a lot more confident in the Steam Deck build now. I hope more people test it and report. Thanks to the dev team.

Awesome devs. Helped me for over an hour on discord trying to figure out why I couldn't run the game. In the end it was some issue with a corrupt registry I had so it wasn't even the game's fault. Fixing that actually even helped me get rid of a slew of different crashing issues I had with other applications. Great devotion to their community!
