Verdun Do not be fooled by the release date or the dated graphics. The experience is extremely immersive, especially when played without the HUD and with the black-and-white filter enabled. The weapon sounds and the atmosphere of trench warfare combat make it clear that this is not just another generic shooter; it is truly a labor of love for the immersive FPS genre. The survival mode is fantastic to play with four friends, and the trench warfare mode is spectacular, you genuinely feel that every soldier matters to achieve victory. Even today, the studio still runs community events where players compete as the Allies and the Germans. I recommend picking it up with friends so you can enjoy the co-op mode, as there are not always many players online. That does not mean the player base is dead. Quite the opposite; depending on the day, you will find plenty of fellas fighting on the battlefield. It is well worth it, especially considering the low price compared to the quality of the experience.

Gsme devs hear me out. Nobody really is active on this game anymore snd I thought about this a lot over the last few years. IMAGINE if this game had a SANDBOX mode. Where I could spawn in armies snd play god or something. JUST saying, I LOVED this gsme when it was active. I’m just thinking outside the box here…

Realy good WW1 shooter. There aren't many, and they hit the nail with this one. The atmosphere is great and it never felt too sweaty. The player base is nice, i almost never encounterd toxicity.

Really was incredible in it's time. I think they should make this one free now to attract more players to the franchise. Franchise suffers from separation of community. Each game has it's own mini community. Would be nice if they would do a re release combining all the games into one big game.itd be the perfect ww1 game
