Pure FPS gun play perfection. Its like all the core mechanics from all the best shooters distilled into one perfect FPS. Then add the near limitless gun customisations... brilliant! I’ve spent a lot of time in the demo, and Void/Break is incredible! The gameplay is a perfect mix of fast-paced arena action and rogue-lite progression, with satisfying physics and destructible environments—you jump between platforms, open chests, and gear up, which keeps every run feeling fresh and exciting. Combat feels fluid and skill-based, with an edge that reminded me of classic arena shooters like Quake or Doom, but in PvE with its own modern twist. The developer is fantastic, constantly releasing patches and updates that make the game even better. If you love challenging, high-energy arena shooters with rewarding progression, this one’s a must-play! Update: The HARD RESET Major Update is now live, and it’s easily the biggest update yet. It adds Zone 4 with larger, fully destructible arenas, introduces wallrunning, a new weapon: SMG, new enemies and modules, and a ton of balance and quality-of-life improvements that make the game feel even better to play. Loved it! I Just played 6 hours in a row. That alone should tell you how good this game is. Wow! Updated review: On my 10th run, I completed my first Insanity run—and wow. The game becomes absolutely intense and chaotic later on, especially once the modifiers stack and the weapon builds get completely wild. Every fight feels like controlled madness in the best way possible. Now it’s time to beat the game again on insanity using all the modifiers. Let’s go!
