If you enjoy games like Exit 8 but want more focus on horror, this one is probably for you. I love how bizarre this game is. Gripping in a way that even a "normal" run feels off. The character models are delightfully offputting, with the reoccuring worm's-eye view amplifying it tenfold. Most anomalies work well to set the mood. Some are subtle (like a noose cord quietly replacing a rubber hose in your shower), some are in your face - literally and very uncomfortably so. And some anomalies mix between these styles, inviting you for a false sense of security and encroaching on you when you least expect it. It's atmospheric, it's unsettling. You are supposed to be uncomfortable as much as the playable character. My only complaints are rather wonky story elements (though its conclusion felt satisfying) and blatant AI paintings. But I can look past it thanks to the other elements. Easy recommend, especially since it's a short one and doesn't overstay its welcome.
It's short and fun. Some parts really did scare or make me uncomfortable (which is the main point of the game). One time I couldn't stop laughing when the cabinet started sliding to me, it was just such a silly/random moment. It's one of those games where you need to find if there's a difference in the environment and then make a binary choice based on it.

It's an effective horror game but make no mistake this is one of those spot the difference types of games that take advantage of you focusing on stupid things like clock handles and items in the fridge so that a jump scare can come and get you. I like the concept but I'm kind of getting sick and tired of these these types of games. But for $5 I guess I could recommend it.
