Unlike traditional train simulators that often spread themselves across multiple lines or rolling stock, this title narrows its focus to the historic Line 7, running through 21 faithfully recreated stations. The developers have put effort into reflecting the feel of the older R33 and R36 “Redbird” trains, and the decision to concentrate on a single line allows for a more detailed presentation of both the track and its surrounding environments. With long stretches of elevated track, players are treated to skyline views and urban landscapes that break up the monotony of tunnels, giving the route a distinctive character. The gameplay revolves around driving trains according to real-world practices, with systems that track speed, braking, and adherence to signals.
