Great fun game, love the web version, and as of writing this I'm on day 310. On higher days, past roughly 250, it gets pretty laggy. I have a good machine and it gets 6 fps on late days (on 2x speed and with all optimization features turned on in the settings.) On early days and the 100s it gets great fps though. Other than fps on late days, its a great game and good to leave on in the background. 9/10 Would Recommend
The game is worth $1 and I bought it on sale for $.78 which was a fair price. Here is why. 1) You can play the game free on Yorg.io. I did, I liked it, so I bought it to support the developer even though the game was released back in 2019. Still fun. 2) The game is not optimized. You will, regardless of your computer, hit a point where the game is no longer fun because of the lag. I got to wave 295 and was just over it. Even disabling a bunch of settings doesn't fix the lag. This is the biggest reason I say it's only worth $1 because eventually you just have to stop. At the worst point I got to you can only place items on the map when paused, you never see a wave of enemies it just flickers about 3 frames then it's over, upgrading all types of units (using shift) freezes the game briefly until it registers, moving the screen is delayed, pausing it takes a few seconds to register so the game keeps running until the logic catches up, and the list goes on. You will hit a point where the game lags. I know the developer tried to fix this as there are lots of settings like "this will help with lag" but the truth is this game was probably early on in this persons career and they didn't understand how to optimize it properly. It's fun but you can only go so far. Play it, enjoy it, but the lag will get you. I should have quit a few hours ago but played through the lag the best I could.
