Damn, what a game. The trailer is fantastic since it gives you exactly what you need to know to understand the game, despite being only 15 seconds long. The rest of the game is just as impressively concise... I cleared it in an hour and ten minutes, smiling all the way. Very very very charming, smart with its puzzles, and really brought me back to the era of short shareware doujin games. You will also have the song stuck in your head by the end of the game

Öoo is the story of a caterpillar who gets eaten by a bird and needs to fight their way out. It's also the story of introducing simple mechanics, then squeezing every bit of cleverness out of them, testing how well you really understand them, then moving onto the next level before it overstays its welcome. It's also the story of gradually broadening what you think you can affect in the game world — by the end, you'll feel like you have command over the whole bird. An exceptional puzzler, one of the best of the year.

These are some of the most clever devs out there. This, along with their other game, ElecHead, does so much with so little. Every room has a new twist on a familiar mechanic and they do a great job at tutorializing you and lightly playing with your expectations. Also it has toads :frog:

Short and sweet puzzle game that consistently surprises with how many creative ways there are to utilize such seemingly simple mechanics. Using the map design as a teaching tool is genius. Even the name of the game is clever. Worth a play.
