Very solid fangame. I love the art and OST. It captures the "feel" of Touhou very well. Though, it definitely leans on the easier side of shmup fangames with a very forgiving unique mechanic, but it was a joy to play through. Performance is smooth as butter, and the true analog stick support is much appreciated. Oh, and while I can't personally vouch for the accuracy of it, as I am not familiar with the original language, the included English translation is good from a grammatical and natural-sounding-ness viewpoint imo as a native English speaker. Really, the only critique I have is that the music room comments aren't translated!

I accidentally 1CCed with Sakuya on my 2nd try and now I'm sad. OMG I LOVE this game! This has to be my favorite fan game so far. This game is so much fun. I cannot really offer it an criticism other than you only have 3 characters and each only have 1 shot type. A welcome addition to the roster could have been Aya or Sanae to give a greater variety in shot types; either one could fit into the story perfectly. My favorite character was Marguerite Lechat, the level 4 Boss. Her theme is the best song in the game and her fight is the most fun. This game is a must have for any Touhou player experienced or new.

Very solid Touhou-like fangame. Medieval German vibe in the music and setting and some very well done art and music. The gameplay is interesting: it's heavy on bullet cancels with lots of falling items that cancel bullets around you, and it has a "power overwhelming" mechanic that once charged acts as an auto-bomb and then even after allows you to absorb more hits before dying (similar to Reisen's bomb in LoLK) meaning even if you aren't manually bombing you can take 4 or 5 hits per life. Because of this, the bullet density and intensity is ramped way up (normal difficulty felt more like Touhou lunatic difficulty) meaning it *feels* really hard, but it's pretty illusionary as between the multiple cancels and all the free misses due to the power overwhelming mechanic, I managed to 1cc it on normal on my first blind run. Fun game to make you feel like you're better at shmups than you really are, and definitely in the upper tier of Touhou fangame shmups.

A very fun Touhou fangame with an amazing artstyle and ost. Seriously the stage 5 boss theme is so awesome. The gameplay is very tight with fun bullet patterns. I'm a big fan of power overwhelming mode and the boss fights in particular. Highly recommended.

"Positive Overwhelming" This is probably one of my favorite STGs of all time. The music, art, and gameplay all come together very well. The good: - Great music, always jam out to stage 4 and 5's boss music. - Power Overwhelming (PO) is a pretty fun mechanic overall. Timing when to use it adds a nice wrinkle. However, it's not so hard to get that you die trying to get it. Using it makes attacks harder, which makes it a risk/reward situation. - Great spellcards. In particular, stage 4 and 5 are where these really shine. That said, even the stage 1 boss is fun. - Lycaropia is cute - Everything is nice and glowy - Beautiful backgrounds - Works on Linux if you force it to use Direct X. The Bad (not much) - Some stages feel like they basically REQUIRE PO to get through without dying/using a bunch of bombs. - Some boss attacks, after PO runs out during them, retain their more difficult version. Stage 1's Odin Spear (or whatever) is particularly bad about it- and it's a very fast attack. - The final spellcard is a gimmick spellcard. It's not unusual for for shmups. I just don't like it.
