I love this game so much, it's around 3 hours long but should've been 30 lol, the story offers amazing potential. The art and music are lovely too and the atmosphere and aesthetic are incredible! Altogether I found this VN very mesmerizing and enjoyable.

Good game. Pros: The plot, BGM, voice actors, multi endings, some interesting side characters. Cons: Main character is way too generic, shallow, most of the time he is so dense, easily manipulated and has no backbone. Sometimes, he catches up on something fishy but choose to stop thinking about it and let others take the lead or take extreme actions so he can play the innocent, do nothing wrong victim

I don’t usually play visual novels that often, so my knowledge of the genre is pretty limited. However, Mandemon managed to keep me engaged with its psychological horror-mystery narrative, and I appreciated what it tried to accomplish. At first, I wasn’t sure what to make of the game. After my initial playthrough, I didn’t fully understand what was happening and honestly thought, This game kinda sucks. But then, I discovered I had to achieve the multiple endings to understand the story fully—some of which remain locked until you’ve unlocked others. Finally reaching the "Ending the Cycle" ending was a huge relief after going through all the bad outcomes. The characters are a mixed bag, but the unnatural elements and psychological twists kept me intrigued enough to push forward. I also have to praise the soundtrack—it’s well-balanced and atmospheric, adding tension at just the right moments. If you’ve watched "The Promised Neverland", you might appreciate Mandemon even more, as it shares some thematic similarities. That said, I had a few issues. Some character expressions and animations felt AI-generated (though I can’t confirm that), which took away from the experience a bit. Another downside is that there’s no way to load a previous checkpoint after completing the game—you either have to make manual saves or start over to see different outcomes. I also noticed minor translation errors, though they weren’t game-breaking. All in all, Mandemon isn’t a bad game—certainly better than I initially thought. For just €3, it offers a unique yet imperfect horror story. While it doesn’t fully achieve the depth it strives for, the connections I draw to The Promised Neverland and its multiple endings make it worth checking out, especially if you enjoy story-driven games and visual novels.

The story is really out there, and you have to play through all the branching paths in order to understand what the heck is going on. Thankfully, most mysteries are resolved by the end (or ends, to be more precise). Good graphics and a somber soundtrack complete the package. P.S. For someone who played a lot of Dark Legions in the olden days, it is wonderful to hear Morceaux de fantaisie again. Brings back memories.

Very similar feel and style to 1 of their previous games 7 Days Countdown, and imo this one is better. Atmosphere - is again great. I really love the grey foggy and rainy games. It's eerie, and fits perfectly. Art - is just beautiful. Gorgeous artstyle, and character designs, with much more beautiful CGs than last game. Music/Voice acting - There are some really good soundtracks, especially the 1 playing in main menu. Also, every character is fully voiced, in Japanese this time, and it's quite good. No complaints there. Story - and finally story... Even though I liked the setting and characters of this game more than the 7 Days Countdown, it runs into a similar problem with it's story. In the second half, it just feels a bit rushed. The game is again too short imo. It should've been twice as long, to perfectly flesh out all the characters and their stories and mysteries/twists. At least, the pacing is a bit better. And last, the ending... is good I guess? Not really satisfactory, because there are 2 endings that both seem like possible true endings, but in each of them separately, something is just missing. If you could combine them, it would be good. Overall, a good quality Visual Novel, for a really cheap price! But I'll give it the same rating, even though it's better. 7/10
