First tower defense game I've played in a while, and very happy I chose this one! Love the design, style, new functionality of weaponry, all wrapped in a sci-fi pixel package. I highly recommend this TD game for those who are looking for something that breaks the mold, gameplay-wise.

Picked it up on sale, for that it's definitely worth the price. I've been enjoying it apart from the fact I really don't like the music and everything just feels a little meek - the game really needs some decent music and sound effects to give the towers more of a punchy feel as a lot of the towers just feel a bit "meh". However even with that, it's still pretty good. Not sure I'd pay the normal price of 8 uk dollaroos when sale ends, but at the price I got it for it's definitely worth it. Most of the towers are pretty weak until you get higher level towers or upgrade multiple towers into entirely new towers. The upgrading part is a nice mechanic. I like being able to make the path for the mobs to take, but you don't get those every round, so it's not as path builder-y as some other TD games I've played. Although I've just beat difficulty 2 (or maybe an update happened) and the plain map now has things to build on and interact with, which makes it more interesting too.

Super fun game! 8/10 gameplay, 5/10 art, would like to see better art in the future. but who really cares about that when the actual game is so good. highly recommend to buy while it is still on sale! (edit) Oops there is a 2nd game that has better art. refunding this one and buying the other :P

Once you get it, it's pretty ingenious. Think like a "gatcha-tower-defense", every wave you get a choice of 1 in 3 turrets to choose. The kicker here is the craft system. You can combine turrets into more powerful ones via this craft system. So it creates a choice, do you "get the turret you need the most", or "pick the components for a more powerful one?". You always gambling your chances for a big pay off. Casual fun
