Honestly it ain't bad but just know you're entering into a roguelike with very little item variety and zero boss/level variety. Feels like an anti-Binding of Isaac where runs are extremely consistent and you always have tons of agency in building what you want by the end, which is somewhat refreshing, though unexpected and ultimately very rote. There's an absolutely massive cast of characters to play around with and you're bound to find multiple you like if not at least one. I concur with the negative reviews pointing out the total lack of unlocks, variety and progression, as it feels like missed potential, but I'd also be lying if I didn't say I found rushing through the game with different characters and dodging bullet patterns fun.

Honestly its super short.... I loved it^^ artwork is wonderful, and the amount of characters is amazing but really like this needs to be longer, i beat the game in under an hour

the gameplay actually sucks garbage but its art, music, and presentation make it worth hoping for better updates in the future. i'm giving it a recommend as an encouragement to the developers that they still have something good going if they can work on the important game design parts and not just new characters. - there is no content (the game is 10 minutes at most) - of the content that exists the enemy design is extremely amateurish, what I would expect from a jam game, not a steam release - there is only one real build (damage/fire rate) and most of the other items are worthless - most of the character gimmicks are extremely shallow and not that satisfying (add 1 extra shot to your kit) - character balance is completely all over the place (compare wriggle's damage output to daiyousei) other minor nitpicks - the dash is hard to use and mostly unsuitable for dodging - devil deals are never worth it as the core damage build items depend on you not taking damage - nitori shop is way too expensive without discount card and you cap out on money insanely quickly to make good use of it - there are several bugs related to invulnerability frames that can lead to near-instant death even with items that give you more invulnerability. - there is no real choice to most of the doorways, you either pick shop or you don't, otherwise all rooms are nearly identical and seem to generate similar pools of enemies to the point that I don't really care about the difference between 1 and 2 stars.
