This was an excellent game! I thoroughly enjoyed it - for those hesitating because of the furies PLEASE don't let that stop you from playing this game - there is nothing NSFW or other furry concerns. The game is very atmospheric, art style is incredible, and the story is very strong. I was fully immersed for days. The game also plays incredibly well and you are guided seamlessly through. I didn't feel the need to look up a walk through, and I never felt stuck or frustrated. The game is incredibly well optimized very polished. I really recommend anyone on the fence to give it a try! the only critique I can really make is that there were a few typos in some of the dialogue. Additionally I found some of the dialogue with the npcs a bit long but that's a personal preference as I'm not overly patient and want to spend my time on the main plot.

Don't let the anthropomorphic character designs throw you off - this is a seriously well-crafted narrative puzzle adventure. Characters are written naturally, focused on their roles in the story without forcing modern social messaging. While the game's time period feels a bit mixed up during the prologue (1627 with Victorian and modern American elements?), it finds its footing once you reach the main Mercury Abbey setting and stays consistent from there. Story & Setting The story follows a struggling novelist and his nephew visiting a mysterious sanatorium by invitation, but that's just the surface. What starts as a simple retreat unfolds into a mystery with multiple layers. The game excels at gradually revealing its secrets through storytelling and well-paced discoveries. There are 5 Chapters. The journey takes you through varied locations - from city streets to the grand Abbey itself, with hidden underground passages, overgrown gardens, classical architecture and luxurious interiors and otherworldly chambers. Gameplay-wise There is a solid mix of point-and-click adventure elements and creative puzzle design. Each new mechanic feels naturally integrated into the story rather than just being thrown in for variety. The puzzles require thought but never descend into ‘moon logic’ territory. Visual Mastery The visual presentation is absolutely stunning. The pixel art environments are packed with detail and animations, and the game handles dramatic scene transitions beautifully. Special mention to the lighting effects and character animations that bring everything to life. There are also some top down perspective scenes in later chapters. The art style combines Victorian elegance with touches of steampunk and mystical elements. Minor gripes: • English translation has many rough spots and somewhat stiff dialogue. • Early pacing might feels slow Honestly, despite these issues, overall it was just a fantastically designed game. Overwhelmingly Positive ⬆️

A short but charming game. Very story driven and family oriented. Honestly, I'd gift this to a 10 year old. Pros -Good characterization -Easy puzzles -Engaging plot -Cozy pixelart. Cons -Kinda dull -Absolutely no sense of urgency or importance. -Artist put a bit too much effort into character models and I spent half the game wondering if this was a horny game only to realize there was ZERO ROMANCE PERIOD.

First of all, the game is gorgeous. I know some people might not want to play this game because of the characters, but this is a spectacularly beautiful game. The level of details even for things that we don't need to interact with is just breathtaking. The music is perfect for every scene so far. The mechanics are good, I need to get used to pressing a button to get up and down for a bit, but nothing is difficult so far. Thank you for the hotfix, btw, I respect the work. Okay, this is just me especially because I do work as translator and proofreader, but I found some more typos in the dialogue (I am in Chapter 4 right now). While it's not a major issue, I hope some day in the future you guys will edit the text to perfection. I'm really enjoying the story so far. I love the character designs, I absolutely love the little things like the invitation card, the posters, the diary. I love the read button so people that might not be able to read anything written with fancy fonts can read easily. I just forgot to check my journal a lot because geez, that would have helped me before I started conversation that eventually led me to choose something. LOL Well, a part of learning. It's a very good game with a fair price, I must add. I hope more people will play this game because it's amazing. I really understand why the release date had to be pushed back after I started playing the game. It's just reasonable. That's all. Thanks so much for making this game. I hope all of the hard work paid off because you guys totally deserve it.

Fantastic game and a great spiritual successor to Tales of the Neon sea by the same devs. Translation quality is fine this time (unlike the pre-revised version of ToTnS), so unless you're an english teacher you won't have problems enjoying the plot. Less puzzles this time, and they're a bit easier, which is fine. One hint: if you're going for a 100% explore everything before entering a door/passage/ area you're supposed to go to, because stuff will get locked out and you'll have to load a save or use the chapter select option.
