Unique art style, high quality and quantity, especially for me, the Cantonese dubbing is really eye-catching, and the level is very high. The voice and text are different in every sentence (only those who can speak Cantonese can get the feeling) Each route has a deep development, without any perfunctory place. The choice of each route not only determines the future of the protagonist, but also allows you to see the purpose and hidden story of the various forces competing here from different perspectives.

It's definitely a choose-your-own-adventure visual novel. Lots of choices along the route, with some of them would lead you to a new route or path that has a different ending. Admittedly I only looked at this game after experiencing the devs' second game - Noctuary - which has become my favourite indie game last year, and I've heard of news that the devs are already working for an English patch for this game (which shipped in January this year). Safe to say that much like their second game, I am in love with the writing of the game.

I was betting on learning Chinese before this game came out in English, sometimes it is good to be wrong.

A fantastic visual novel with a unique art style that stands out from the usual anime visual novel aesthetic. The characters— whether friends or villains— are deep, well-written, and incredibly likeable. Even the antagonists have layers that make them compelling. The lore is rich, and every setting feels like it has a deep history behind it. If you’re into world-building, the artbook DLC is 100% worth it— it adds a ton of extra depth to the story. This is a true multi-route game, with eight distinct paths that branch off significantly based on your choices. The story doesn’t just tweak a few details, it shifts in completely different directions. The first cantonese voiced game that I have played and the vocal artist did a wonderful job. And I love how the After Story and various subtle references in the base game and side stories suggest the coexistence of multiple timelines, hinting at something even more epic in the sequel. 8.8/10 for me.
