The good: -The charts are good, almost no bs except for the glitched difficulty of some songs which are quite challenging. -The game boots up really fast and the navigation on the menus is simple and quick meaning its a very comfortable gaming experience. -If you have no interest in the story of the game there is a skip button. -There is a lot of freedom on key bindings. -You get 50 songs with the base version of the game. The bad: -Very bright colors which might be slightly blinding. -Color options for the note blocks are way too similar and can lead to confusion. -Poor menu explanation. For example, the tutorial stage uses lane pattern A but after entering to your first song it switches to pattern PC which is slightly worse and you are never told where to change it. -Unlocking the last 10 songs or so takes a while. -DLC is expensive (can't say if it is worth or not tho since I'm not planning on buying it). Things to consider: -If you like Vocaloid It's a good purchase since it uses a similar software for some of the songs (the ones by the V.I.P group to be precise) and you will recognize names of producers or songs that are popular in the community. -It's a cheap game worth 4€ or 2€ on sale. Even if you are not planning to buy the DLC the pricing is justified. IMO it's an 8/10 purchase if you have some experience with rythm games and want to try something different (I might be slightly biased, since I was a fan of the girls before purchasing this game).

Only buy on sale or if you're a huge Kamitsubaki fan, for those who are unfamiliar with Kamitsubaki I think this game is still worth checking out if you like rhythm games in general, if you've been in the rhythm games sphere you might notice some familiar names here such as Giga, Feryquitous, and more, And who knows, there might be some songs here who are familiar to you that you didn't know was originally made using the voice of one of the V.I.P girls all along, like CH4NGE or Cat Loving (ft. Kafu) Now for the gameplay, it's clear that they made the charts so that the game is playable on both PC and mobile devices, there's no crazy gimmick like in most mobile rhythm games nor there are charts with crazy patterns like in most keyboard based rhythm games, the hit window is also quite lenient, also you only drop combos if you miss, even if you hit very late it still continues your combo. So generally, the game is quite easy, but there are challenges like the "GLITCH" mode, sometimes songs are "glitched" (not actual glitch of course) and the gimmick is that sometimes you have to hit more than 2 keys at the same time. Now for the story, it can be interesting, it takes place in the Kamitsubaki City universe, but you don't need prior knowledge to that to understand what's going on, that's all I can say, I think from the visuals and the synopsis you can expect what you'll be getting into. For the songs selection itself, for me it's fine, I think it's good enough for any Kamitsubaki fans, but I do hope they add more artists here in the future like VALIS (not too hopeful about this one), CIEL, and maybe even GIRLS REVOLUTION PROJECT. So overall, I think it's a good game, good for killing time, very enjoyable for casual play, but can still be challenging enough at higher difficulty and the glitch mode.

clarification for people unfamiliar since people are giving negative reviews based on their misconceptions: this game does NOT use generative AI. CeVIO AI is a software similar to vocaloid, a digital voice instrument that requires writing and tuning by the user to render a result like any other digital instrument, but that uses a trained machine learning model by the voice provider instead of just regular recordings from the voice provider to create a better rendered result. in the case of CeVIO and vocaloid6 it's for a more expressive voice, and in the case of softwares like SynthesizerV and Maghni AI it's for a more flexible and less digital sounding rendered result. regardless, all of the control is in the hands of the user and the programs are useless without b hours /b of user input. the ai terminology is leftover from an era before generative AI, where the ML (machine learning) models used in these softwares were the only AI that really existed and thus made it a cool marketing point. most companies are even dropping AI branding now, with dreamtonics removing AI from their synthesizerV branding with the release of version 2 since the meaning of AI has changed since these softwares released. now onto... THE REVIEW update 3/29/25 honestly, just get the game on switch. the game looks way better and plays way better in handheld mode on the switch, and you can also get the dlc on switch if you want it, so just get it there. pretty much all of my negatives aside from story things are not issues with that version. Original review The game has very clear signs of being a mobile game first. from the criware engine for audio to the large touch designed UI, it's clear that this is just a mobile port, so that could potentially bug some players. Additionally, the game only supports up to 1080p which is quite strange, as even most midrange phones have a higher than 1080p screen nowadays. This causes the game to look kinda blurry on my 1440p monitor. The reference lane for adjusting offset is also bugged, causing the visuals and sound to be misaligned in the offset preview even though there are no issues in game. i imagine this is another occurence of weird mobile game port problems. The last issue is with the gameplay. the game regularly changes from 5k to 7k, with lanes 1 and 7 disappearing until they are needed. as a person who's only played VSRGs (vertical scrolling rhythm games) on PC that are 4k/4k with a gimmick and is thus having to learn 7k to play this game, having the lanes appear and disappear is HORRIBLE for muscle memory, and causes me to drop the combo nearly every time. i imagine this will be less of a problem as i learn 7k better but it does make the game less accessible for rhythm gamers new to 7k. lastly for issues with the game, it does that rhythm game story thing where the story throws a massive pile of mysterious jargon at you with no real explanation right away, making it really uninteresting to trudge through very quickly. after the first 4-5 or so dialogue scenes i started skipping the story entirely. as for positives the game runs really well, the songs list the vocalist used, the producer, and any other writing credits as well, which is nice to see for a relatively unknown rhythm game (even as a person who listens to singing synth music, is a music producer, and owns KAFU boxed i didn't know this existed LMAO). there are some really great songs available and the song list is pretty long for a 4 dollar game, even though the DLCs seem kinda expensive. this is one of those where you'll probably be happy with just the base game due to the sheer amount of great content unless there are songs you really really want in the DLCs. The game also utilises kamitsubaki's aesthetic really well, so if you're a fan of their voice instruments or other projects made by them you'll find the aesthetic of this game right in line with your expectations.

I have no idea what those characters and the company label is about.. but I see rhythm game I buy The game is ALRIGHT for the price. I can see from the thumbnail that this is portable from mobile app so it's understandable to have very cheap animation sprite, Also major color theme have made my eye bleed but character design is super cute. The story contains gay woman moment though ;-; The gameplay is basically all 7 keys lane note. Overall not so difficult (average Pop-music rhythm game on the market for everyone to enjoy here) and if players who have played O2Jam or TapSonic before this should be walking in park. Anyway- music chart is super enjoyable as if there's no Osu! mania kid or FNF chart designer get to work for the game. The only pain-point for me is the "fat" note that ate up 2 lane which would looks easy when play by touching on mobile.. but in PC is very trippy for me. DLC price is "reasonable" if compared to other Rhythms on Steam.
