60 Parsecs is the space themed successor to 60 seconds, where you have to gather as many resources from the space station in 60 seconds and survive the rigours of outer-space using the aforementioned resources, where the game will give you randomly chosen events to make decisions on. Now, off the bat, this game really doesn't have much gameplay, as it really only consists of resource management and clicking a few buttons, however it instead relies heavily on its texted based narrative and art style. I can say that does quite well in both of these aspects as there is plenty of dialogue that is original and quite funny. The art style is done exceptionally, as all the characters have a cartoonish look to them and each remain distinct as well as having there own personality. The music also adds a nice touch of flavour, whether your helping out a communist crew of dogs or surviving the harsh desert planet once ruled by cows. Now, where this game falls flat, is that it is a one trick pony. Despite there being tons of different events and accompanying dialogue to go along with them, you will soon start to get repeats of them, which won't be nearly as entertaining or amusing as the second time, or third, fourth, fifth....What this also means is that you'll soon figure out what event does what, and how to succeed in them, which again, gets boring quickly. The only reason I have so many hours in this game is to 100% it, which is an RNG fest. Overall, it's a fun game to play if you enjoy reading and the art style, not to mention that it's probably one of the better games in the text based game genres, but will soon get boring after you start to get more and more endings. Would recommend.

I cannot decide whether I like 60 Parsecs or 60 Seconds more. They are both fantastic games and they both are difficult games where you have to manage resources very well and make decisions that can end your run in a second. But this is what makes the game fun. Trying to fly through space and survive and decide where to go and who to trust makes this game a blast.

Nice character design, plenty of different missions and objectives to achieve, and a definitely more complex system than in 60 Seconds! However, on the other hand, if you play this game right after 60 Seconds!, you might feel a bit fatigued and worn out by the formula. In my opinion, it’s an average game—enjoyable for 2-3 evenings to discover something new. 6/10

This game is amazing. Great graphics and gameplay with the fun opening gathering items scene of the other game, survival mode with randomized resources, and missions. There are many planets to land on and the game is very forgiving when it comes to resources and finding a planet. I only reached one ending but there are pets and lots of characters and it's really funny and witty and cute. I recommend this game highly for its replayability as well.

A wonderful upgrade to 60 seconds that I absolutely love, the additional endings and events offer so much replay value that far succeeds the previous game. It's so good I wish I didn't buy it on sale.
