I've watched the anime of this vn and it didn't make sense and it was way too rushed, so I decided to just go to the source material instead, and I am glad that I did. This episode's main girl is miyako, the sweet and kind girl of the four. Anyway, I enjoyed the way that they introduced the premise of this series, being the first installment it did a good job imo. The story ended up keeping my interest in its promise and made me want to see more of the characters. While it does have a serious plot, this game still contains plenty of fluffy and light hearted scenes. The story gets serious when it’s necessary, but overall this game is very humorous. The friendship shared between the cast of characters as they joke around feels about right, but it also made me think that I was reading a SOL title instead of a supernatural mystery one. Throughout the game, we get a chance to see the main character’s everyday life as they slowly start to get closer. I think romance definitely is the main aspect of this episode, although while I don't mind that, I just thought it would be more focused on how the supernatural powers work for future fights. I installed the patch for this game and I had choices to make, I thought it didn't matter until I reached the bad end, so my *bad* on that one. Although I did of course go back and correct my wrongs which showed the true ending I think? Although I guess this would be more so like a good ending. And I am glad I did try to get it since it added more story than what I could've gotten in the 'bad end.' I think it's also neat that they offer an option to skip to the previous or go to next choice, and skip all the dialogues you've read so you could get through the second playthrough quicker. Albeit far from perfect as it probably further sets itself up for the sequels, it is still a good read. And lastly, the artworks are good, but some specific ones in my opinion, is charming and beautiful.

Not munch can be said. It's an opening entry that introduce the characters and the plot. It leave some mystery that not answered even untill the end so reading next entry is really recommended. Some people will say it's kinda boring but for me it's so-so. At least the characters design is very good and they said the next episode will be better. So 8/10.

Somewhat typical scenario where a group of characters obtain powers of various degrees, decent story but I would have preferred more intense moments. Should be obvious, but I'll point it out anyway: This story is episodic so don't forget the other episodes avail on steam.
