Their games are simple, relaxing, charming, and perfect for spending a few stress-free hours searching for hidden cats. A Building Full of Cats 2 continues that tradition while introducing a number of small additions that enrich the experience without altering the core formula that made all Devcat's games so enjoyable. After completing the game 100% in a few hours, I found myself once again enjoying exactly the type of experience I hoped for when launching a Devcats title. A Familiar Experience with New Touches One of the things I appreciated most is that the developers didn't try to reinvent the game. Instead, they expanded upon the original concept with additional activities and interactions involving the residents of the building. These new elements provide extra variety and make the environment feel more alive, while never distracting from the main objective: finding every hidden cat. The result is a sequel that feels fresh while remaining faithful to its roots. The Joy of Finding Every Cat The true highlight, as always, is discovering the cats themselves. Part of the fun comes from seeing the increasingly creative ways they're hidden throughout the building. Some are immediately visible, while others blend perfectly into the environment or appear in unexpectedly funny situations. I love all games in this series! I love finding cute cats, but to be honest not really a big fan of the color schemes in some room, a bit eyesore! Nevertheless that's just a small setback, overall still fun and super relaxing to play if you're into object finding games, there are interesting side quests and tasks as well for a change. Achievements are also easy to complete. Sometimes things are very small and can be annoying to find, but there are always hints so it's no big deal. 10/10 supporting stray cats, keep up the good work, miaow!
Ok seriously: This game is GREAT. My 6 year old daughter loves spending time finding cats, secrets, solving puzzles, playing the mini games etc. And I love all the TV, films, video games, rpgs, comics, nerdy stuff and pop culture references. But all these were not enough to make me leave a positive review. :SPOILER ALERT: And then my daughter entered the Black Metal guy's apartment. If devs read this let me say I love you. Cathory? Under the sofa there's a scratch mark? Meowhem? De Mysteriis dom Felix Cattus??? This game is awesome. Go buy it, find cats and listen to Black Metal. Aaargh
Definitely an upgrade from the first game! Though I enjoyed both pretty much, I enjoyed the character and room designs in this one! I enjoyed all the little details and references to real people, games, music etc. :3 It was a good game to relax, and for achievement enthusiasts like me, it was nice to play through. The fact that games like these are inspired by real cats makes it so much better, plus you basically play it for a good cause of helping some little kitties. As a cat lover, it was 100% worth it! I am looking forward to playing the other games of this collection! <3
