I dont know chinese so i made up my own story as i went along. Named the main dude Spaghetti and his first crush was called Milkshake, he wanted no part in what Spaghetti wanted and walked away then Spaghetti met Smooth Roll who cheated on him so they broke up. Spaghetti was then forced into seeing some girls for an arranged marriage but none of them wanted him except Cake who later found out Spaghetti kept a copy of brokeback mountain on his pc so she questioned him about it. I have no clue what Spaghetti was actually saying to defend himself during that argument but they stayed together and had a kid named Gnocci. Eventually Spaghetti died in hospital and told his son something and ignored his wife. 11/10 You may have no clue what you are supposed to pick but its a fun game somehow.

Came across this by chance and was surprised to see an LGBTQ-theme game made by a Chinese firm. From the screenshots and description, it doesn't look it's full of sex or boylove stories like many of the western counterpart. And for the discounted price ($1+), why not? I wasn't expecting to be in for an emotional rollercoaster but it's incredibly realistic, especially if you are at least familiar with both traditional Chinese culture and how it views homosexuality, even if you're straight. The genre is somewhat between a simulator, decision-matters and education (in Chinese culture and general LGBTQ issues). More accurate to summarise the game as a "How to survive as a gay person in Chinese society"-simulator. It explores themes like coming out of the closet, managing family using all kinds of reasonings/emotional ransoms to get you to marry/undergo conversion therapy, whether you choose to be out socially, self-esteem, etc. There's even a simulated dating app looking like instagram where you like post from profiles that: 1) Keep blogging about exercising achievements, 2) Showing off their new bf, 3) High class "tasteful" guy looking for the same into finer things in life but not relationship, 4) A middle age guy being coy about getting papercuts. For me, the damn-onion moments for me was the conversation with grandma at her deathbed, the decision to come out to her instead of lying, her surprising acceptance and desire for me to seek my personal happiness, and the subsequent pseudo-conversation with her as a younger me talking about others' opinions and the choice to kill one's soul to live in society's expectation, or being proud of who we are, or simply neither (accepting who we are but hide it because the society thinks otherwise). Haven't completed the game yet and might be missing out on some contents on the 1st playthough, but I don't think it's a game that you need min-max (actually got a PERFECT rating during the coming-out chapter) Tips: Go for rational explanation and those that middle-path solutions (ie. don't sacrifice yourself but also don't sacrifice your family) . 100% recommend if you are an LGBTQ person, or if you're open-minded to "read" a light novel about a minority group and Chinese culture (not necessarily limited to China's Chinese, but pretty much everywhere).

This game truly touched my heart, after just over 70 hours on this game i still cannot understand a single word said to me yet when my farther went to me "死于愚蠢的同性恋者" and shipped me off to get my balls electrocuted i cried, In fact it's the first time i've ever cried, the game is very relatable to all straight men who are in no way questioning their sexuality. 10/10 would pretend to be gay when i'm 100% secure as straight male again

这个游戏非常棒，将一个同性恋者内心挣扎、迷茫、抑郁、释然的阶段展现得淋漓尽致，我作为一个患有重度抑郁症的同性恋者，无数次被游戏情节戳中泪点，我仿佛亲身经历一般直面了内心的孤独和最卑微的渴望，也有几个瞬间感受到了被理解和认可；而美中不足就是太过理想化，在现今的中国社会中有多少人有勇气向家人和朋友出柜？又有几个人能像主角这样张口就来各种百度复制的理论和数据？现实往往就是不解释和解释不清楚。结局来讲没有太大的问题，将一个同性恋者的各种结局都展现了，只是攻略对象不够有代表性。 对我来说，喜欢的人可以有很多，但爱的人只有那个特定的时间出现的人，在我最痛苦的时候不经意间看到的那个像阳光般温暖的笑容，他给了我继续活下去的勇气，与他之间最遥远的距离对我而言便是最近的距离，我愿意用生命祈祷他平安幸福，我愿意因为他相信阳光，我知道我爱他，就够了。
