Not a difficult game by any stretch on its surface (esp if you can turn into a Mimic) but the difficult comes from making the game harder within its replay-ability.

It's pretty cool so far. I dig how it's basically a roguelite/arcade fighter? The one thing that's driving me crazy atm is the fact that EVERY single weapon found during the run that can be grabbed for free off the ground is NEVER for my current character..... what's the point of that??? Make the free weapon spawns for my current character.... why would you do anything other than that? lol. It's like the game is pointing and laughing at me every time it happens, and all it's doing is pissing me off.....

The mechanics of this game is very much misunderstood. It's a Hack and Slash dungeon but the fight mechanics is more like Fighting Game than a Button Masher. You have to learn to dodge, parry, area control, time combos, find openings. You have special moves that you assign to Up, Forward, and Down buttons, activated with the special move button ala Smash Bros. You can think of it even as a Soul's-like. The unfortunate thing is that sometimes you get surrounded by three enemies of differing types for example, where you sometimes get locked into a combo or having to defend most of the time from barrage of attacks. Also, if you have stopped playing this game for a while, you will forget the nuances of the fight mechanics too. After coming back to it after many years, I forgot everything and have to learn again from the beginning.

Really awesome game, I don't get the complains. Easier solo, coop with friendly fire raises difficulty more than the enemies.
