You've got a maze type puzzle game you traverse with movement keys. Pretty much "Adventure", just the puzzle side. It goes in the form a circle on circular grid, to a triangle grid in a octagonal and square shape. Each have 20 levels. For €2 it's a fair price. I've played this once, and thought with the new achievements, there would be new levels. Nope, just completing a level gives you 3 achievements. But hey, atleast it's not some achievements locked behind dlc's, so that's something.

aMAZE 2 is a minimalist puzzle title developed and published by Blender Games that strips the maze genre down to its purest form and builds an experience entirely around spatial awareness, patience, and methodical problem-solving. Rather than relying on story hooks, complex mechanics, or visual spectacle, the game commits fully to the simple act of navigating labyrinths, proving that even the most basic concept can remain engaging when executed with consistency and care. aMAZE 2 positions itself as a calm but mentally demanding experience, one that rewards focus and perseverance over reflexes or speed. The gameplay revolves around guiding a small ball through a maze from its starting point to the exit. Controls are intentionally straightforward, allowing players to focus entirely on reading the layout and planning their route rather than wrestling with inputs. There are no enemies, timers, or distractions; the challenge comes solely from understanding the structure of each maze and navigating it efficiently. This simplicity makes the game immediately accessible, yet it also reveals surprising depth as maze complexity increases and paths become less intuitive. A key strength of aMAZE 2 lies in its use of procedural generation. Instead of relying on a limited set of handcrafted levels, the game continuously produces new maze layouts that feel coherent while remaining unpredictable. This ensures that no two sessions feel exactly the same and significantly enhances replayability. As players progress, mazes grow larger and more intricate, often requiring careful backtracking and mental mapping to avoid dead ends. The gradual escalation in difficulty feels natural rather than punishing, encouraging players to improve their spatial reasoning over time. Visually, the game embraces a clean and colorful aesthetic that prioritizes clarity above all else. Bright contrasts between paths and walls make each maze easy to read, reducing frustration and allowing players to focus on navigation rather than deciphering visuals. The presentation is deliberately restrained, but it serves the gameplay well, especially during longer sessions where visual fatigue could otherwise become an issue. Complementing this is a subtle, unobtrusive soundtrack that provides a relaxed backdrop without breaking concentration, reinforcing the game’s meditative tone. Progression in aMAZE 2 is driven less by narrative or unlocks and more by personal mastery. There is a quiet satisfaction in completing increasingly complex mazes, and the game reinforces this with a large number of Steam achievements that reward persistence and exploration. These achievements add an optional layer of motivation for completionists, encouraging players to spend extended time engaging with the game’s systems even after the core experience becomes familiar. The pacing is entirely player-controlled, which is one of the game’s most appealing qualities. Without time pressure or failure states, players can approach each maze at their own speed, making it suitable both for quick sessions and longer, more focused play. This flexibility makes aMAZE 2 an excellent choice for players looking for a low-stress yet mentally stimulating game that can fit comfortably into any schedule. That said, the game’s dedication to simplicity may limit its appeal for some audiences. Players seeking narrative depth, evolving mechanics, or dramatic variety will likely find aMAZE 2 too barebones. The experience is intentionally narrow in scope, and it does not attempt to surprise players with new systems or twists beyond increasingly complex maze design. For those who appreciate focused puzzle experiences, this restraint is a strength; for others, it may feel repetitive. Ultimately, aMAZE 2 succeeds by knowing exactly what it wants to be. It is a pure maze puzzle game that values clarity, consistency, and replayability over spectacle. Its procedural design, clean presentation, and relaxed pacing combine to create an experience that is quietly addictive and mentally rewarding. For fans of classic maze challenges or players looking for a calm yet engaging puzzle game, aMAZE 2 offers a polished and thoughtfully designed experience that proves simplicity, when handled well, can be more than enough. Simple and Easy Game What this game is: A simple relaxing puzzle (maze) game. How does it work? It is a basic maze game where using arrow keys is the only thing you need to do to get to the conclusion of a given maze. How does it perform? Very easy to play. No hassle, no bugs, relaxing music, you do it at your own pace. You have to solve 60 set-ups by moving a ball with the arrow keys to get to the center of the maze. The good points: Cheap, simple and relaxing game. It is STEAM DECK compatible. It has easy Achievements, and has Steam Trading Cards. Takes a limited amount of space on your HD, less than 115 MB, and a 10 years old PC with only integrated graphics will be able to run it. No bugs I could see, basic settings and controls, OK music. The bad points: The game is short, you may have 1.5 to 2 hours of play if you go quickly through it, more if you take your time. You will have to keep in the game after playing it in order to get all the Steam Trading Cards. My take on this: If you like cheap and relaxing games, this is it. The price is low but taking into account everything said here, I would recommend buying this when it is for sale.
