It is a great and fun game. You can go to quick play and play maps that other people made or you can build your own! (custom battle) I post most of my maps and I would 100% recommend this game to 8+ years old. In the quick play battles there sometimes is cussing but otherwise it's fine.
Buy this game!!! This game is criminally underrated, you might get the idea that this is just a simple battle sim such as TABS, this could not be farther from the truth. In reality its more like a simple game engine, with practice and knowledge you can make almost anything. Personally i am working on recreating Half Life 2 in this game and its a blast. Additionally the artstyle of the game is masterfully crafted and completely timeless, ive been following this game for quite a few years and even when going back to old content of this game it still looks quite good. The community is wonderful and if you intend on playing this game i would strongly recommend joining the discord, JNI takes and actually adds community suggestions and especially bug reports. Overall my interactions with this game has been all positive, please get this game i beg <3
