What is Animal Shelter 2? In this game your goal is to help the animals in the area and then help them get adopted to compatible homes! Okay- don't make me test my limits game." -"OMG LOOK HOW CUTE THIS DOG IS I CANNOT." Beginner Player Friendly? There are some aspects of this game that are a little bit confusing, however once you get the hang of everything I would argue that this game is beginner players friendly. There is a tutorial that helps you figure out what steps to take and how to take them. Game Play: In this game you have just opened and repaired your very own animal shelter! You can decorate, upgrade and manage your shelter to whatever you feel is the best way to do it. The decoration aspect is very free and you can place things wherever, however you want! The animal aspect is very personal, you can walk your pet at the local park, or you can groom them in your own animal washing station. You can also design their cage however you feel necessary with various types of items. There is much to explore in this revised version of this game! Graphics: The graphics have improved since the last game and the animals and their behaviors have become more realistic. The environment feels like an actual animal shelter would. Once the repairs start your animal shelters building starts to look beautiful. Everything about this game has been very improved since Animal Shelter 1! I believe this game could run on medium end systems. Community: The Animal Shelter community have always been very kind and supportive, writing all sorts of guides and making YouTube videos as well! Everyone seems like they would be kind and answer questions if needed. How long can you play? So far I have played around an hour and a half as of writing this review. I believe I will be able to get way more time out of this game as I loved the first one, I believe that there is no real 'completion' to this game and realistically you can play for an infinite amount of hours. I can picture myself playing for 10+ hours no problem! My Opinion: In my opinion I think they need to add horses again, and farm animals and then this will be the best Animal Shelter style game out there. I believe if you like animals and being a manager of a facility you may enjoy this game. I love this game, especially compared to the previous one. I adore the addition of rodents and ferrets, I'm hoping we'll see the horses again, along with other farm animals and maybe birds and reptiles too. I love how the game is now more interactive and easier to understand. I look foward to seeing more animals and updates in the future!
This adorable game is really addictive. I like this game more than the first one. Things I like most about this game (compared to the first one): - Ages! Puppies, kittens, adults and elderly animals are all part of this game. - Adopting your own pet! You can adopt from your own shelter! - Interventions! Rescue animals from a park, trees or clean up trash so animals don't get sick. - Send animals to the vet. Sometimes special care is needed for sick animals, like surgery. Now you can actually send them of to the vets. - Chronic and infectious diseases. Some animals now have diseases that require long term medications, or diseases that spread if you're not carefull enough. - Day/night cycle and seasons. The day/night cycle and the seasons make it so that you actually have to plan things like adoptions and make sure the temperture in your shelter is good! - Adoptions! People actually visit your shelter in this game! You can also have open days or have people drop in with an animal they found. - Breakpoint tasks. Animals now need to do certain things to become adoptable, like learning to walk on a leash or get over their fear for other pets. - small improvements. Delivery boxes now disapear with a small animation flattening them. The camera is now part of the tablet. Walking pets on leashes is now a key feature!
yes I do recommend, the breed variety of dogs and cats is good, but it would be good to add a bigger variety of animals. If you have been to an actual shelter, they don't have just dogs and cats. they have small pets, large pets, feathered, reptiles and so on. but just adding something like small rodents. (rabbits, Gueapigs/hamster, birds) If they just add a little more variety it wont get boring as fast. I hope future updates add extras :)
