TL;DR I recommend this cute, relaxing game IF you have ZERO issues with motion sickness or dizziness/nausea. The gameplay loop is very fun and simple, and I initially had a relaxing time playing this with 2 other friends, and could've seen myself continuing to play it, in an ideal world. Unfortunately, if you deal with any level of motion sickness, this game is not for you. I know that this is something I frequently deal with, so after it making me very ill the first time I played, the next time I took anti-motion sickness medication 30mins prior to playing, made sure to not move my camera around much, walked backwards through every room so the camera would be stationary, and played with a small window on my monitor in a brightly-lit room. Despite taking these measures, I found myself SO sick after barely 30mins of gameplay that I had to lay down for the entire rest of the evening, the nausea and headache not passing until the following day. There are multiple threads on Steam and Reddit of people experiencing this or worse, so if you've ever experienced motion sickness, I advise holding off purchasing until the devs address the issue and implement a fix. This is a very cute game otherwise, and I recommend it to anyone who likes organizing and low stakes cozy gaming (and doesn't get motion sickness!) - hopefully I can play it properly one day.
So I just got the game at 10AM and I got 9 hours on the game... that means I haven't played the game for 2 hours out of the day so far... so clearly I'm loving this. Of course since it just came out there's gonna be glitches I'll address and I got recommendations. [ALL FIXED] Glitches/Bugs: -Multiplayer glitch where they cant see two boxes from a customer, just one. -The sunroom; sometimes you cant go through the doorway because it still registers as locked? What I want; -A currency to upgrade the boat space (size and height) -The choice of which destination to send packages to -Ability to move shelves -Buy/Sell shelves -Ability to customize our cats {Update 7/10/26} What I'd love to see down the line; -Ability to travel to those different post offices in the towns. Example; I travel to Port Windy and organize the boxes there, maybe end up hiring employees. But each place has their own special rooms like Port Windy has a wind room and Foggy Mountains has a fog room. Each post office would be decorated differently to their corresponding town, along with different customers. -A house area we can decorate and buy furniture to use extra money for (Not super important but would be cute)
Had a blast playing this cozy little game with my wife and brother-in-law! Completed the game in a little less than 8 hours. Would love to see more content being added to this game, as it becomes a bit pointless to keep playing the game since there will be no more goals to strive towards. For example, it would be awesome to open a new post office on one of the other locations, or joining the captain on the boat to see more of the cat world! Solid 9/10.
The game is great, the art style is very cute and the soundtrack sublimes the whole thing The reason why I'm writing this review is for you, yes you, across your screen: If you're neurodivergent or have neurodivergent friends: GET THIS GAME IMMEDIATELY - yes, at full price (if you can) - You are assigned a repetitive task - with clear instructions - that you can do at your pace (there's no time limit, or anything) - it mostly involves sorting things (!!!) - there's no repercussions for doing things wrong You can't give a customer a package that isn't theirs: you get to go back to your little warehouse and fetch it Damaging or incorrectly labeling a package that needs to get sent gets you a one (1) point penalty on a score system that gets into the several hundreds anyway, so really not a big deal Giving the delivery person a package that goes to island A, when they tell you they are grabbing packages destined to island B does nothing - the package gets sent back to your warehouse on the next day - you get to see really cute cats - and if you play in co-op, you are playing with your friends, awesome!! For the non-neurodivergent people: these bullet points are like catnip ( pun intended :3) to us, so share this game with your friends and have a good time!! Also if you can, get the bundle with the Supporter Pack, you get the soundtrack, an art book, and two cute Desktop wallpapers The devs really deserve that extra money <3
I will give you the positive review for the cozy game. HOWEVER, it is conditional. The game is fun and initially organizing and compartmentalizing things is great. This gradually becomes an issue however as someone mentioned in another review people just don't pick ♥♥♥♥ up. There ends up not being enough space to organize things the way I want. Once you get the restrictions (I.e. cold room, etc) there aren't enough shelves for destinations nor enough places for large boxes. Toward the end of the game EVERY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ package had a mate and I was making designs out of stamps to keep it all organized. So the first couple hours were great, really scratched that OCD organizing itch, the last couple hours I craved death and wanted to throw every package that got dropped off for deliver into the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ water. There simply wasnt enough room on the boat and we had WAY to many large packages. Add a decline button for drop offs, or restrict night to pickup only, they can take those 4 package drop offs and shove em. Anyyyway, TLDR: cute game for the first half, wanted to kill myself trying to get the completion for the later half.
