Some things to note before purchase: The game runs at slightly less than fullscreen and in 4:3, with black borders on all sides. (1280x960 on a 1080p monitor) Three pros are missing (Ken Griffey Jr., Barry Bonds, and Frank Thomas) and were replaced by generic kids with the same stats (Luke Lopez, Hugo Hernandez, and Chase Wilton) Some teams were updated (Cleveland and the Athletics) while some were not (Marlins and the Expos). This was a rights management issue and was out of the hand of the remaster team. Final note, this game kicks ass.

Whether you were a kid when this came out or just want to understand your parents' nostalgia, this is a classic that fixed many of the issues with Backyard Baseball '99. The fact that they actually reacquired the MLB licenses for all but three of original players (Frank Thomas, Ken Griffey Jr, and Barry Bonds) I find to be nothing short of a licensing miracle, and keeps the core experience intact.
