Overall, the best game in the "Crew" series of games. The basic game play revolves around your crew manning your battle wagon. The main progression is focused on building and upgrading you vehicle, adding better weapons, armor, and/or facility, and at the same time your crew gains new armor and levels to gain skills to better pilot your vehicle. The core game involves you crossing the map capturing different outposts, with plenty of other side mission to gather resources for upgrades. Badlands crew biggest issue is how similar it is to previous games, and while the format remains fun, for people like me who put a lot of time in to Bomber and Space crew on my switch it can lead to the game becoming stale faster then it would have otherwise. If you have never played a "Crew" game before, this is the one i would recommend first. This is a LONG game, took me about 20-30 something hours to beat the game. At the beginning I was just doing whatever but by the end of the game I was just B lining it for the main story. There are SO many outpost capture mission that all just blend together after a while, and this is compounded by how easy the game is. There are no real difficulty settings in the game and when i tried to challenged myself by doing a two man crew i was disappointed to find the game wont even let you start the game with less then five crew members. Over all good game that I'd recommend, but the game can be rather repetitive. 8/10 Update: They have added difficulty settings. I don't know how good they are, but i'm sure that problem is more or less fixed.

Please god fix the driver AI. I love the game but i just lost my entire wagon/crew because my driver decided to go off a cliff. 10/10

I've played all the Crew games their day of release. Space Crew was a nice improvement upon Bomber Crew; this is a great improvement upon Space Crew (which is not to say that either previous game sucked - I love them all). More freedom, more customization, and the ability to create your own customized battlewagon. Where will they go from here?? Plays really well on the Steamdeck too!

this game is made with love, its a rogue lite mad max inspired open world. buy it, play it, supports a small indie dev team that listens to the community. 10/10 worth every penny
