March 2026
I was skeptical at first. How could a software that is this cheap compared to hardware that costs hundreds of dollars work as well? That was my main concern. But after a good few hours of use on a few different games, I can say this: It does its job. Is it going to be as good as TrackIR or any of the hardware ones? No. But is it bad? Absolutely not. It 100% does its job and it does it well. You can set it to track your eyes or your head movement. I prefer head movement as eyes just moves you around way too much. It has a solid number of settings that aren't overwhelming where you can tweak it to your liking. It will need some tweaking, but you will find a sweet spot after messing with it for a few mins. It tracks your head a LOT better than you would expect. There is a little bit of input lag but that could be because of my settings. Overall, honestly a solid 8.5/10. It does its job, it does it well, and it's compatible with most games out there that would need any kind of head tracking, even niche ones you wouldn't except! 100% recommend even at full price.

Works great. It works with almost any old webcam (or even a phone used as a webcam), so there is no need for a big investment. If you have issues because your room is dark, you do not need an IR camera. Just go to Windows Settings, Bluetooth and devices, Cameras, select your camera (the name of your device), then adjust the settings. Zoom in to make sure you are as visible as possible while still staying in frame in all your positions. Take into account that you will probably slouch after the first 3 minutes of sitting straight. Suggested camera settings: Contrast: minimum (this tends to push the image toward black and white and can improve low light capture) Sharpness: maximum Saturation: minimum With these settings you should remain visible even in a low light environment. Tested on: Elite Dangerous Euro Truck Simulator 2 City Car Driving

This is a really impressive product! I use it when playing ETS2 and it has entirely changed the experience of the game - it made it feel much more real, smooth and immersive. I have one relatively small sreen (24''), so I only use head tracking, because if I enable eye tracking there seems to be a bit too much camera movement to my taste. But I imagine that with a ultrawide screen or a dual screen setup the eye tracking coupled with head tracking would actually offer the best experience. I totally recommend Beam Eye Tracker to anyone who plays ETS2 or a similar game. This is definitely a level up for your experience!
