This game's tutorial is deceptive. I went in an thought this would turn out to be a weird experiment by Omega-Force and was disappointed when I couldnt combo attack enemies into the sun. Then 9 Hours in I realised I just ordered my OC Donutsteel anime german waifu to defend a fortress in West Bruges while I control my legally distinct Casca and sweep the fields with her heavy cavalry. Swapping between to two characters whenever I saw Bruges was starting to get a little too overun by Frenchmen. This was when I realised I was playing Kessen. This is European Kessen. Port doesn't work unless i plug in a Kyperkin Duke controller. Xbox 360/One/Pro/Alltheother models cause the game to display in the wrong resolution regardless of what I try. No idea what Shinto magic is at work here, probably has something to do with Evil Joan of Arc

Get this if it is on sale (sales are rare for this)! Are the graphics modern? No. Is this a high quality port? Haha, No. Is it hilariously fun to bowl through mindless armored bowling pins from the back of a horse while rocking out to a bombastic medieval-inspired orchestra? My goodness, yes. THREE STEPS TO ENJOYING THIS GAME: 1. Buy on sale 2. Read the community guides on changing to English text, and controller support 3. BE SWORD CAVALRY If you happen to have fun crawling across the map as any of the other units, then great.

The game is fun and it runs like i remembered it on the xbox 360, that being said the original game was fun and just that "fun". the game is really limited and always has been you can run around and kill stuff no problem but there isn't any real challenge to the game and it's very grind intensive to get to the end, and i'm talking a LOT of grinding for a single player game (originally online co-op) and it can get a little boring at times especially if you play it in long spurts of time. If you can get the game on one of it's rare sales for around 20 bucks then i think it's worth it, the game is fun but very dated and did not age well like some of the other legacy games from the good ol' days.

What a Miracle. After all these years, this game on sale right now. This game reminds me a lot of Kessen 3, Good ol times. Anyway, this game is pretty good and fun to play. Especially to bonk your enemies into crisp.

A wonderful, simple game where you lead units against each other. It seems like a first-person fighter, but it's not: you lead squads, and fight with your squad, not alone. And it illustrates the little-known historical fact that the Hundred Years' War was mostly fought to finance the nobles' hair product imports.
