I want to start off this review by stating that the game itself provided me with a lot of great time, both recently and when I first bought it many years ago on a disc. Blitzkrieg II is divided into three campaigns (USA, Germany, and USSR), all of which show you a different level of difficulty. The game presents you with various missions and scenarios, and allows you to deal with specific missions as you see fit, letting you upgrade your army. After each successful chapter, you will see a short black and white film, letting you know what your grand victory achieved. At first, the mechanics seem rather simple, but after some time, you are required to think about your actions more carefully. Blitzkrieg II also provides you with its two DLCs - “Fall of the Reich” and “Liberation”, both showing more complex scenarios for new campaigns of the USA, Germany, and USSR. Personally, I believe this game to be a hidden gem of the RTS genre and would gladly recommend it to anyone.
