Its a great old school vampire game i used to play on the OG xbox back when i was a kid. Now i will say for some reason when you purchase this and download it the game wont work out of the box, you will have to go on google and do some searching and find community made patches and apply them to get it going, however in your search you will also find another patch for a conceptual edition which is a pretty cool play as well incase you have played this game before and want a slightly different experience. Basically it just brings back some cut content and such. Also out of the box controller support is very bad however these patches i speak of do fix that, but you may still need to play with it a bit to get the controls just right.

You can very easily fix issues with the steam version of the game by googling it briefly and finding a solution in the steam forums. There's a bug with modern machines that kinda make it a pain to play. It's easily resolved by downloading 3 small files. The issue with no controller support isn't a fault with the developers or the distributors of the game. It can be easily resolved by playing the game in big picture mode and enabling a readily available scheme fans have already created for you. The reason old games don't have controller support on PC is because PC users back then were quite snobby and thought that consoles were made for "kiddies" so the inclusion of controller support infuriated them even if it wasn't forced. It's good to know that while some things may change, they still stay the same as gamers get mad at the most insane sh*t.

This is a blast from the past. One of my favorite games and franchise. Shout out to @Major Dutch for suggesting the Conceptual Edition fix which works like a charm. Can't wait for Soul Reaver 1&2 Remastered.

I still after 22 year love this game to most Legacy of kain fans this is the weakest in the series but that does not mean it's bad it aint it does some flaws and the the story is the weakest but it still a fun game to play and is alot of fun.
