It is a very exciting WWII sim of controlling a bomber plane full of down syndrome soldiers who are slow as hell, cant do anything on their own, and aim like storm troopers... shooting knives... out of a bow. When you start doing missions and leveling your bomber and your crew. you feel unstoppable, and it feels like the most fun game you've played in a while. But then your plane goes down and you watch all of your soldiers die, as the plane you spent 5 hours upgrading ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ explodes. Then you proceed to google what crimes you need to commit to get a death sentence. (Regicide or treason just to save you some time.) And you sit there in silence wishing steam allowed you to refund games you've played longer than two hours. But when the rage passes you pick yourself up, dust yourself off. Delete your save file and start again. Buy this game so you can feel the bliss, rage, and a want to waterboard yourself that I felt.
Game has a pretty fun coordination set. hen you first start out it can be a bit tricky to keep your crew in the right spots, and having enough ammo to keep up with the onslaught of planes. It can get a bit repetitive after a while but the learning curve keeps things interesting enough to finish the campaign. For the expansion, things get turned up a few notches, having extra crew members but without the need for manual reloading. Really loved the experience though there was another learning curve keeping up with everything going on, though probably just from the extra crew. Replayed both campaigns so it definitely feels like it got easier but it was still difficult enough to surprise me occasionally. Good luck if you try to keep the same crew or plane alive!
